The poor sound quality explains why this venue's noise carries throughout the area. During our earlier visit to see an acoustic duo, I don't recall any sound issues, but with a full band, we couldn't endure past the fourth song. The low-end sound was overwhelmingly muddy and distorted, reminiscent of cheap Peavey gear. The bass overpowered everything else, making the band's performance sound rough. I'm guessing the equipment is old and possibly suited...
The best bar/venue in town! The owners Madeline and Cody are very personable, and the drink and food selection is fantastic. Family friendly and pet friendly with a very nice outdoor area.
Beer and music great, skip the food.
Update: 185 responded to my direct inquiry. I want to clarify, I wasn’t commenting on the taste of the food. We ordered a pretzel & chicken strips at around 6:30, by the time the show was over at 8:30 we still hadn’t received them. If you’re going to a show there, I’d just plan to eat prior to attending as their small kitchen cannot keep up with large/sold out shows.
