We, out-of-towers, were on a quest for a cinnamon. We tried to find a cinnamon roll and stumbled on this place. Turned out to be an especially delicious cinnamon roll. Highly recommend! (Oops—no photo—we ate it too fast!
Nice selection!! The cinnamon roll was delicious!
Local here. I don’t appreciate getting AUDIBLY SIGHED AT when giving a business my money. Young guy behind the register was so rude. No smile, greeting, “have a good day”, or anything. Acted as if I was annoying him by walking in. I don’t care how your food tastes, please have the bare minimum of kindness for your customer service, ESPECIALLY in a small town as a local business, c’mon
We came in for coffee and then chose a cappuccino chip muffin to share. We both took a bite and said, “ this is the best muffin I’ve ever eaten”. We are 63!!! Went back and bought three more muffins. We had our muffin the next day and happy to report it was just as good. We will be back.
Alexia prepared a beautiful cake for our Anniversary celebration. Moist, delicious and put a new look on the cake we had in 1999 when we got married.
Ordered 2 dozen red velvet cup cakes from the bakery for an employee’s birthday and everyone LOVED the texture of the cake and the icing was so flavorful. The two dozen went fast. Thank- you from College Walk. The birthday girl, Valerie Tilson always requests these treats for her birthday!!
Every visit to Brevard we stop into this bakery to say “oh no thank you, we’re just looking”—and fail. We all leave with a bag full of our shattered delusions. Great place.
The cake was not edible. Bakery would not refund the price of the cake. Poor customer service to say the least for a $50 cake.
First time visiting here. Interesting and tasty pimento cheese. Great cupcakes. I heard the cinnamon rolls were really good, but I won't find out until tomorrow morning with coffee 🙂
UPDATE: Reviewers weren't lying about the cinnamon roll! I heated it for 15 seconds in the microwave and ate it with coffee. Probably one of the best I've had. Some places kind of skimp on the cinnamon. Not Blue Ridge. It's packed with cinnamon and sugar and has just the right amount of frosting on top. For an extra tasty experience, dip it in your coffee. Just sayin 🙂
Tried their gluten free brownie cookies. They are delicious and fudgy!

When it comes to goodness...where do I begin!!! ALL of the wonderful personalities that make up the Blue Ridge Bakery are delightful! Each one made me feel at home and welcomed! The Zucchini Cornbread is to die for!!! and each kind of Quiche holds a special place in my heart and stomach. The pastries are crafted with love and are more than delectable! I attempted to sample a different one each day and then switched each day between my favorites-The Cappucino-Chocolate Muffin- The heavenely Cinnamon Roll and The various Danishes--AND the SWEET POTATO CHILI Oy Vey!!!!- They even had Challah which made my Friday and Saturdays... The 94 days that I have been in Brevard have been made even sweeter because of you-The Blue Ridge Bakery!!!! A person could go there EVERY DAY and find awesomeness.. I know, i tried! -May you continue to flourish and be a blessing to Transylvania County...and beyond..... I Love you!!!- KiKi

Good morning. I am happy to know that Brevard college and the Blue Ridge Bakery appear to be ok. The Blue Ridge bakery is my favorite hang when I am there. There food is fantastic, wonderful vibe and yes, they have live Appalachian bluegrass music most often times during the day. I'm glad to know that they have survived the deluge onslaught. They are only minutes from the Pisgah Forest and not to far from the super scenic Blue Ridge Highway. They are also not very far from Asheville. I love this little cafe. I would go there every day when I was ensconced nearby in the park. People were friendly and welcoming. Their food was heavenly. This cafe was a hub for music artists from the the area.
This cafe was a rare find for me. I recall thinking I had died and gone to heaven. I love West North Carolina. But now they have suffered greatly from the storm - some parts worse than others. They will rise again, stronger and better than they were before.
Meh - sandwich were average at best. The bakery items looked good but were overpriced.
