I first went to the Cardinal drive in when I was a college student and it was genuinely such a disappointment. The food was oddly dry and/or greasy. I summed it up to it being a place that wasn't for me.
Today I decided to give it another shot to redeem that initial experience just to be met with the same quality if not worse. The malt and milkshakes are good, but the chicken was insanely dry, fries are bland and dry, and the onion rings were undercooked and greasy. On top of that we didn't get part of my order.
The service was decent; it definitely did take a while for the food to be done even though it wasn't busy but the server was friendly.
The foods affordable on the bright side 😊.

Old school vibe. We dined in and had to use the telephone system that does not work very well. Don’t get the chicken tenders, you can pound a nail with them. hamburgers are decent. When you are in Brevard, you should check the place out.

This is such an underrated place! Everytime we come here the food is absolutely amazing. The only non positive thing I would have to say is that there ordering procedure seems outdated. Some phones work, some don't, and other times you don't know if it works. Other than that the food is perfect Everytime. Mozzarella sticks are the best every time. Onion rings, foot long chilli dog, burgers perfect Everytime. Affordable and delicious. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for the onion rings, stepped out from the racism.
This happened a few years ago, but I’ve never forgotten or forgiven. I had been there a few times and liked it so I brought a friend. However, my friend and I happen to be several shades apart. The service, which had previously been extra friendly, was suddenly non-existent. Well, that’s not fair. What it was was surly, abrupt, curt, and slightly menacing. Drinks were slammed onto the table. Food was literally dropped to us from about a foot high. When it came time to pay, our server yanked the bill from my hand, pointed to the amount, grabbed the cash and shoved it angrily into the till, all the while glaring at us with the same scowl that greeted us.
If you think that sort of thing is cool then by all means eat there. If you don’t, you won’t have a problem finding better food and certainly a better class of people almost anywhere else.
