El Ranchero is by far the best Mexican-style restaurant in Brevard! They are fairly standard when it comes to the menu and flavors, but they do a much better job than the other option for this kind of food in town. Maybe I'm spoiled by living in Asheville for so long with all the great Cali-Mex/Tex-Mex places in town. This place has great food. We can here last year during the White Squirrel Festival and loved it. This time around it wasn't as crowded and we explored the menu a bit more. We ate every bit of our food, and we really enjoyed the margaritas also. It tasted like they squeezed their own lemons/limes, and weren't using the premade mix. Very pleased!

Recently, my wife and I ate at El Ranchero for the first time in several months. The menu was new since we last ate there. Both of our meals were much better than the last time we went there. The service was excellent, thanks to Rojelio. If you haven't eaten at El Ranchero recently, I highly recommend giving the new menu a try.
