First time visit on vacation from out of state. From the moment you enter and are greeted by the Order Taker at the Register, who had a lovely smile and such a warm welcome, you just knew the food was going to be outstanding!! My husband had the meatloaf sandwich and I had the country chicken salad sandwich and tomato basil soup. One word for it all...AWESOME. The cute atmosphere with the warm personality of all of the employees and the food...Mayberry's is the WHOLE package....
I used to LOVE the Cran Turkey sandwich but now it comes on not so good of a hoagie roll. And the "relish" was just cranberry and walnuts. Other menu items might be better! My nephew still loves their Cuban.
We walked in and seated ourselves to look at the menu. We got in line to order. We were told that they were closing at 3 and the people in front of us would be the last orders. We were told we were welcome to come back at 5. We had searched online and decided this would be our place to try. We were very disappointed. My friend had walked a distance using a knee support walker to get there. Hours posted showed they should have been open.
