I was so sad when the previous restaurant left but this is way better. Best burger in town. Full stop. Rosemary fries kill!! Omelet and toast is a winner. Not many breakfast options but this is tops. Owners are great.

This place has a great selection of food, at very reasonable prices. It's right on main Street and centrally located. The food and service was great! We got the chicken & waffles, biscuits & gravy, a Belgium waffle with blueberries, and a side of bacon and eggs. Very pleased with everything!

I have dined in at Smokey Sunrise many times. I have my favorite dish -- the blackened tuna sandwich on a brioch bun with aioli mayo and arugula. Today I got a take-out of the same, times two -- one for me and one for my friend (it's her fav, too).
After a crushing disappointment with a carry-out from a different place, I felt I had to write this great review of my experience with Smokey Sunrise. The carry-out from Smokey was AS GOOD as the dine-in in almost every way! That, too me, deserves great applause and credit to the restaurant -- to pay equal respect to the folks that take a meal out and eat at home or elsewhere.
Thank you.
Keep up the fantastic work. Brevard is lucky to have you!

Had a great breakfast with the wife on our last day in Brevard before driving back to Ohio. I had a bacon, egg and cheese croissant and a bowl of fresh fruit which was fantastic. My wife had the smoky sunrise hash bowl which she raved about.

FYI: You take a menu from the front table and find yourself a seat. When ready you order from the counter and they will deliver the food when ready.

Our service was friendly and our food arrive in a timely manner.

5 Stars!

I walked up to the counter to order and asked for fish and chips. I made the mistake of asking if it came with a drink. The guy behind the counter responded with, “No, it’s doesn’t. This ain’t McDonald’s.” Real class act.

So yummy! Ran the Brevard 5K and was looking for a place for brunch to refuel. Smokey Sunrise has a nice menu. I oped for an omelet and added on the rosemary breakfast potatoes. My friend had the bacon, egg, & cheese croissant.

Food was great the atmosphere was noisy and a little confusing with people just standing around waiting for a table. Wait was not long.

Best biscuits 'n gravy I've ever had. EVER.

Wife also loved the chicken and waffles. Prices were pretty good too. $24-ish for two adults and one kiddo

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had — incredibly rude staff.
I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at Smokey Sunrise in Brevard was so disappointing, I feel compelled to speak up. From the moment we walked in, the staff and waiter were unprovokedly rude and aggressive toward our group of six. We were all polite and friendly, but it was clear they didn’t want to accommodate us — no smile, no welcome, just attitude.

Instead of trying to work with us, the staff acted as if our presence was an inconvenience. The waiter was snappy, dismissive, and completely unprofessional throughout the meal. It genuinely felt like we were being punished for showing up as a larger group — even though we were respectful and patient.

There’s no excuse for treating paying customers this way. The food might be decent (we honestly couldn’t enjoy it after that), but the attitude of the staff completely ruined the experience. If you’re looking for a place that values hospitality and knows how to treat guests, I recommend going literally anywhere else in Brevard.

And yes It was definitely at smokey sunrise. And the owner is a gaslighter. It was a male staff member, white man jewish looking, about 5’11”, with a bad attitude problem and would roll his eyes at customers like if he was auditioning for a mean girls movie. Terrible establishment!

I really want to give 5 stars because the brunch was flawless, however, we waited probably 45 minutes for our food. It was worth the wait, but I wouldn’t recommend going in a hurry nor if you’re starving and prone to getting hangry.
