Probably the best restaurant in Brevard, North Carolina we love all the restaurants there, but the square root is by far the best one my wife and I have ever dined in everything on their menu is made to perfection very friendly people working there and the indoor and outdoor dining is not too big not too small, but perfect for sitting and enjoying the mountains and your food with a glass of wine you guys will always have a return customer every time we’re in Brevard. God bless.🙏🏻🇺🇸

Been here a bunch of times. Today was a letdown. St Louis ribs were good; but Mac and cheese was too dry and not cheesy. The wahoo was dry/over done. and my wife did not think it was worth $65. Crazy. Staff are great.

Had the salmon and tuna tartare on crispy rice. Excellent! My compliments to the chef!

This is my favorite restaurant in the area. Their pretzel board is the best in WNC, and we should know as we get a soft pretzel 1x per month somewhere different. The entrees are creative and celebrate the area, and the service is impeccable.

My favorite place to eat in Brevard. Rotating specials are consistently interesting, and appetizers are hard to beat. The outside patio is a great place to sit, although note that there's sometimes cars driving down that alley.

Carolina Burger was great, and the pork chop with peach was a knock out.

My friend and I enjoyed a post hike meal here. Service was wonderful. Food, atmosphere, everything about this place was great. Great, quality food, at a very reasonable price point. 10/10. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough. Chris in the bar was fantastic.

One of my better dining experiences over the past few years. If you are in Brevard NC, this is a must visit location. Great menu from which you can order all day. Since this was our main meal of the day, we bypassed the sandwich and salad options (although we saw very good dishes being delivered by the servers) and selected NC Mountain Trout and Crispy Roasted Duck à l'Orange (my choice!). My wife said the trout was one of the best she had tasted, and she likes fish. The duck was fantastic. Both dishes were artfully presented and accompanied by equally tasty sides. This restaurant is a cut above. Thanks, Chef, for a delectable experience. Brevard is fortunate to have you. We will be back to sample other items on the menu. By the way, the service was professional, helpful without being pushy, and timely.

What a fantastic place. The hospitality is tremendous from suggestions to going out of their way to make you feel at home. I misplaced my beanie thinking I had donated it and the GM offered to give me one of his! Over the top service. Trout was delicious and I highly recommend the pate.

The service and food were excellent. My wife got a london broil sandwich and I got the bean burger, both were awesome. Planning to go again next week.

A cozy, vibrant restaurant in Brevard that was busy but available tables. In an area that has a lot of devastation from the hurricane, Brevard is open for business.
We opted for 3 appetizers as we weren't too hungry. Portions are good and entrees looked large, easy sharing.
The ahi tuna nachos were delicious with seaweed salad, avocado and Wasabi sauce. The special smoked salmon dip had large chunks of salmon, spice from jalapeño and served with seasoned blue corn chips. We finished with duck bacon, sweet corn wontons that looked like little empanadas. They were hot, gooey and topped with a sirahcha aoili.
We walked across the alley/street and bought some local chocolate.
Highly recommend visiting.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures.

We traveled 22 states in two years and this was the best food we ate along the way. It’s been 2 years and I dream about their curry on the regular. Very relieved to see them up and running.
