My boys and I stopped here for lunch while returning home from a fishing trip. All three of us had smash burgers and hands down it was one of the best we have ever had! Yes it really was that good. It was a perfectly buttered bun with their name branded into the top of it, thin crusty patty, and topped the true southern all the way(mustard, onions, chili, slaw)! Can't believe we have lived here for 7 years without stopping. Brass Kettle we will be back soon!

If you like steak and eggs, nothing beats their Ribeye Loaded Hashbrowns. For lunch I always get the Philly Cheesesteak. This small family restaurant makes everyone feel like part of the family. Chris and Cheyenne actually care about their customers and how they are doing. This is not some soulless chain restaurant. Wonderful friendly local people and the best breakfast in Sanford or Raleigh for that matter. Chris also has on display quite a few of his antique collectibles. Good people, great food. Highly recommend.

Had a chance to stop by The Brass Kettle Cafe this morning, and I'm glad I did! Those old enough to remember, know that this spot used to be 'The Road Runner Cafe', home of amazing biscuits and fabulous burgers. The original Brass Kettle was up the road in Jonesboro/Sanford, but has made a great home now in Broadway! I was intrigued with the idea of catfish and grits for breakfast, adding an egg and a biscuit to my go plate. The menu is extensive and there's plenty of room both inside and under the picnic shelter out front. The cafe is decorated with a variety of memorabilia, giving the restaurant a nostalgic vibe. Service was fast, friendly, and helpful for this first-time customer, and the quality and taste will definitely bring me back. Prices are reasonable for the amount served, and my overall impression was very positive. I will absolutely return when traveling and highly recommend for family and friends.

A must stop ? Come grab some home style cookin', outstanding southern hospitality combined with fresh food gives the amazing dining experience. Endless amounts of old decor to keep your eyes entertained. I had the Huneryman breakfast and let me tell you every bit of it was homemade and fresh for an amazing price. Highly recommend!

My husband and I brought my dad and step mom here for breakfast when they were in town visiting. We had previously been to the former location and loved it, so we'd give the new location a try, and it did not disappoint.

Dad had the SOS plate with extra sausage patties. Biscuit was fluffy, the gravy was nice and creamy, they even accommodated his request and put his eggs on top, which were cooked over easy, the yolks were perfect.

Step mom had just french toast and said it was wonderful, crispy outside and fluffy inside.

My husband and I both had the loaded hashbrown plate with country ham and a side of gravy. It was super filling and hearty and just amazing.

Service was counter order and staff would bring out. All the staff was efficient, attentive, and friendly. The restaurant itself is not huge, but has indoor and outdoor seating and is cozy and homey. The atmosphere was vintage and retro in a great way, my father LOVED the quarter car!

The prices were fair and appropriate to the portions. The portions were all very filling. Service was great. Even as it got busy everything moved.

Definitely worth the visit.
