This is the greatest hidden gem in our state. The food is the best you could ever eat. Ran by a great family. They single handedly are keeping me from fitting my jeans but I can't help it! The food is just so good!

Great service. The Brisket sandwich was delish. The food came out pretty quickly. Place was hoping and food still came out quickly and tastes good. Everything was also very fresh.

The food was good, staff was friendly. We came up from Fayetteville to meet up with some family in the middle and picked this place to try out. Well worth the it and I’m glad we chose to come here. Great BBQ, chicken and the fried corn bread was excellent!

Excellent food and amazing customer service. I had the pork chop with Mac and cheese. The fried cornbread was just like what I had as a kid. They are only open a few days a week so pick up a schedule when you go in. I will absolutely be going back.

We asked Google for a good BBQ place and Woodard seemed to float to the top. Their barbeque was moist, well seasoned, tangy and slightly sweet. Their Collards were delicious as were the baked beans; they rounded out a nice meal. I wish the Hush puppies were not so well done. I remember more tender Hush puppies from the skillet of an old friend in Charlotte. Theirs were a little more crunchy than I prefer. But over all, Woodard Family BBQ & Grill was just what we were looking for.

This was my FIRST REVIEW..Nearly a year ago NOT sure why it didn't post then....WENT TODAY 6/29/23 AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT!!! OHHHH YEAHHHH that HONEYBUN CAKE DANGEROUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went here this evening, my friend and myself both had fried flounder and two sides. The fish had no seasoning, it was greasy and the skin was green in color, something I've not seen before. The baked beans lacked flavor had something black floating in them couldn't figure that out. The macaroni and cheese was okay. And the hush puppies were rock hard. We barely ate anything on our plates, threw the remainder in the trash and left. Needless to say, we won't be returning, what a waste of 16.

Food is delicious and fresh. Customer service has always been pleasant as well. Lemonade is always a hit!I would LOVE to see the candied yams be a constant on the menu. They are absolutely delightful and not too heavy like other soulfood restaurants. The menu contains limited veggie/side options for people with dietary restrictions, such as Alpha-Gal or religious restrictions (Muslim or Christians who do not eat pork). Other than that, such an amazing place to dine!
