That was the most disgusting, vile, pitiful excuse for food I have ever put in my mouth. Everything was cold, slimy, and overpriced.
Worst thing I’ve ever had, inedible!

Food is mediocre especially since a sandwich is $20. Pulled pork sandwich is bland and chicken sandwich is rubbery.

A great place to stop on the Appalachian Trail or via highway for bar food and drinks in a unique outdoor, covered shelter location.
The river is flowing adjacent to the building.
A dog friendly place.

Great place to hang out by the river, enjoy some food and beverages. Cool off in the river on a hot day. Parking can be a little tricky

Always love this place! It takes a bit to get to but everything does in the mountains. Sitting by the river with an adult beverage and music is so enjoyable!

Location, location, location—Big Wesser Riverside Pub has it. Right on the river at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, this is one of those spots where the setting does half the work. But the food and service hold up too.
We stopped in for lunch and had a grilled chicken salad and nacho bowl—both solid, fresh, and came out fast. Staff were friendly and efficient, even with a steady stream of rafters and bikers rolling in and out all day. But the real show? Once a day, a scenic train pulls in and unloads passengers for lunch. It’s a sight—and adds to the whole experience.
Live music during the summer, outdoor seating with a river view, and cold drinks within arm’s reach. If you’re in the area, this is a great place to sit back, refuel, and enjoy the mountains. Will absolutely be back.

Nice stopover for the great smokey mountain train ride. VERY busy bit nice river backdrop. Drinks were very expensive.

Can't beat the location and atmosphere of this place. Sitting with your feet in the river watching kayakers practice on an Olympic course is awesome!

You can't be be having a burger and a cold beer after running the river. The food was disappointing. Very expensive. The beers were great. Everyone was nice in the live music was a nice vibe.

Nice place along the river. We came here for food since it was dog friendly. The wasn't bad but severely overpriced. We got the smashburger and the 2 pulled pork sliders withal a beer. The burger was not a real smashburger and was just overall basic. Sliders and beer were good but very small. It's definitely not worth the $37 for our meals.

In an area with few vegan options, this place had vegan cheese options and a few items that were easily made vegan.
We did not eat here. But the atmosphere is very loud. And the announce food orders. Not a friendly conversation level place.
