“Great little gem in downtown Bryson City. We ordered the Filling Station Salad with grilled chicken and The Ethyl to go. Both the salad and sandwich were superb! Made with high quality fresh ingredients. We ordered and waited outside as the weather was gorgeous. When our order was ready, they kindly brought it out to us. All at a very fair price. Don't skip this place!”

“In Bryson city for a couple days to mountain bike Tsali and hike Andrew’s Bald. Stopped her last night. Great beer. Nice place. Tonight I decided to try Bryson city brewing. I got a simple pale ale. Damn near. Couldn’t finish it. Place was very touristy too. Went back to mountain layers had another VERY good beer ( they have beer award medals all over). I mentioned where I had been right before and what I assume is a regular said “ I’m sorry!)”

“Wife and I took the GSMR and when we returned we decided to give it a try. Sign said “Best Burger in Town “ so we got a Mushroom Burger and a Slaw Burger with Fries and Tots! Burgers were cooked perfectly and the Fries and Tots were super crispy and Hot!!! Young Man brought it to the Table and was very polite!! Highly Recommended Support Local Business!!!”

“Visited Bryson city for the week with my family and this is one of our all time FAVORITE spots! From the coffee to the cream cheese frosting cinnamon roll to the brunchable (bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant sandwich)- absolutely everything was impeccable! Hope you’re there on the weekends because they are only open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday! Super worth every penny!”

“My family and are I are extra thankful this year for the kindness and generosity of Jeff and Pam Pulley, the owners of Mountain Perks Espresso Bar & Cafe. Two weeks ago, my kids and I came to Bryson City to ride the Polar Express train with friends. GPS said I was only .5 of a mile away from my destination, but my car got stuck on the rocky road on a very steep mountain and I had no cell service. Turns out I inadvertently got lost very high up on the mountain (later we would found out I was 20 minutes away from the house we were staying). My kids and I walked to the nearest house that had a light on, and by the grace of God, Jeff and Pam took us in and helped us. Jeff and his neighbor, Keith, also got my car out of the ditch I backed into, and my kids and I were still able to make the train ride. Jeff and Pam didn’t have to open up their door and help three complete strangers, but they did with open arms. Jeff and Keith didn’t have to get my car out, but they did. Let this story remind you that there are truly amazing people in this world; Jeff and Pam (and Keith) are angels walking among us! My kids and I visited Jeff and Pam at their coffee shop the next morning, and let me just say, their food and coffee are delicious! I highly recommend going there if you are ever in Bryson City, and they are located right across from the train station!”

“we stopped in to try the bbq and eat by the river and found a true gem! The Bar-B-Que Wagon was super clean, 100 sani rating, and the food was great. We eat bbq all over and would rate this spot as top tier all day!”

We tried Bryson City Brewery already, but for reasons that need not be mentioned, we wanted to look for a different family friendly spot. Gave you guys a try tonight and man. What a great experience! The Santa, kids karaoke, holiday drinks and the grinch?!? Come on! That is how you do a holiday family friendly bar/restaurant experience in December! Santa was so welcoming. Karaoke was super fun and the grinch stole the show! Thank you guys!! We will absolutely be back!”
