This place is new to Cherokee and well worth the trip.
Great location. You can sit inside or outside, either with a river view.
Casual atmosphere, simple but comfortable seating.
The menu choice is extensive, a mushroom burger as an example is different from what we are used to.
You order, they bring it to your table.
The burgers we had were really delicious and far from those premade patties others offer.
The fries were real potatoes, not perfectly shaped, just tasty treats.
We heard about the place and the many positive reports.
It's all true, finally a burger and fries that satisfy and leave you planning to come back.

“We were looking forward to lamb chops and they were out of them. I ordered crab cakes. They were ok. Overcooked on the outside which made it dry. NY strip was excellent as was the garlic mashed potato and mushrooms. Ordered coffee with my birthday dessert. No offer for a refill. It's one cup and here is your bill. Service was good but server could have asked if we wanted anything else.”

“We stopped in for lunch and very much enjoyed our sandwiches. The Philly cheese steak and BBQ chicken sandwich (which was more like a panini) were delicious and we highly recommend them! We also enjoyed the “white trash” snack mix we took home for a treat to enjoy later. We will definitely stop by again when we are in town.”

The hibachi plates are generous and cooked fresh. The steak and chicken are well-seasoned, the vegetables are crisp without being overcooked, and the fried rice has that classic savory flavor you expect. Portions are more than fair for the price, especially for a tourist-heavy area.
Their sushi is surprisingly good for a smaller mountain-town location. The rolls are neatly prepared, fresh, and consistent. If you’re not feeling hibachi, the teriyaki options are a safe and satisfying pick.

“The food was delicious. The service was for the most part good, but some of our order was missing. After waiting for her to come back I finally had to get up and hunt down our server, who was standing behind a partition talking with other employees. But she was apologetic and brought out the rest of our order very quickly. The food is a bit pricey but you get plenty of it. I loved the mozzarella cheese sticks, grilled chicken sandwich, and sweet potato fries. I ordered way too much, but it was just as good reheated the next day. We’ll be back.”

“This was a last-minute stop before traveling. It's a great place to eat, but there was a big crowd and the line for the buffet kinda long. They had to keep refilling the station and at times we had to wait more than 5 minutes. What I ate was good, fresh, and hot. Bring some patience when visiting. This is a very popular place on Saturday. There were a lot of families. The waitstaff was nice.”
