“Great brewery, the owner Greg is very personable and great knowledge of beers. Makes great combinations and every beer we tried we enjoyed. My Wife and I made the trip from Gatlinburg and weren’t disappointed, and got to see some Elk around 430 pm back to our Air BnB through Newfound Gap Rd”

“Who knew you could find great Japanese food in Cherokee NC! The food was fresh, delicious and large portions. Sushi was fantastic. Some of the best we have had. Service was a little inattentive. After our food was delivered, we didn't see our server again until the check. It wasn't busy, so not sure where he disappeared to? Despite this, we will definitely return.”

“We tried to dine at a restaurant in the casino and there was anywhere from a 45 minute to two hour wait.We drove to a 24 hour restaurant, but it had 1/2 the tables closed because they were short staffed.We found Osaka by accident, it's sign was blinking OPEN. I checked the reviews and they looked good, so it being after 9:00pm, we decided to give it a try.We are so glad we did. Tomy was our waiter and so friendly, and answered our questions.We had one dish that was chicken and shrimp, another that was Panang curry , and the last was Beef Lo Mein (no pic of it).Also had fried oysters and they were really good.The food is delicious and the staff is super nice.We will visit again next time we are in town.”

“These guys were the greatest! Every one of them very friendly! Fast service! The food was great! When I first came in the store, I placed my order and I had mentioned that my sugar was real low. I was on some new medicine for my diabetes, and that I needed to eat quick as I could! One of the guys offered me at his cost, some orange juice to bring my sugar up immediately! He showed compassion! I thought that was very considerate! Evidently he knows a little something about diabetes! And cares about people in general! I had the chalupa box! But they were out of the bread for the chalupas. So they substituted the chalupa for a nacho Bell grande! You couldn't beat this with a stick!”

“A small town feel with a hungry man menu lol.... they could stand to update somethings like hollandaise sauce to the eggs benedict, I mean I get sausage gravy and the mountain man thing, and I love they do a Dixie Chicks thing, but it's hollandaise and eggs benedict ? lol... Still it's a nice place to be with the people you love, or with out. They do offer a bar for the ones on the go or dinning alone, and the coffee is always hot and the service is always warm! ♥️”

“We had great time at Haywood. The staff was friendly and attentive the whole time we were there. The food was outstanding. We had the 3 meat combo with double babyback ribs (only on Saturdays), brisket, sweet potato with honey butter, collards along with a chopped pork sandwich with potato salad. The ribs were fall off the bone good and brisket just as superb. I don’t normally use bbq sauce but the sweet red sauce took me back to a head country type sauce i grew up with. I would recommend this place if you are near by or far away. I’m picky with bbq being from the Midwest and this place nailed it!”

“Carrot cake was the best ever. Visiting the mountains this is a great stop. Grew up there and it was so nice to see a beautiful store with delicious baking! Very personable. The guy at the front even knew my high school friend. Outstanding small town ”

“I had an amazing brunch at Breadheads in Sylva!! My companion and I shared some chicken and waffles and the brunch quesadilla and both were delicious I was salivating as I saw them approach the table. The chicken was so succulent, crispy, and flavorful it made me wanna slap my mama and then immediately apologize. It sat upon a pillow soft waffle, drizzled with decadent hot honey. The quesadilla was packed in tight and pressed to perfection. The eggs, cheese, bacon, peppers, tomatoes, and mushroom all created the perfect flavor profile. Adding the cilantro ranch and salsa was just the beginning of the happy ending in my stomach. To conclude, I would eat brunch here in a heartbeat. Not to mention the bartender was so attractive and hypnotic because of her attentiveness to my needs as a diner. Needless to say it was lit.”
