“Wow! I’m visiting from Texas & l’m blown away how humble & down to earth the baristas are! Very very sweet ladies! They make you feel like family!!! Great prices as well, cheaper than Starbucks and taste better!”
“CUTE! We visited from Utah driving around the park and stopped here. Not at all what we were expecting and got so much more than we hoped. $17.95 for a 4 course meal and the food was SO delicious. Oh my word, it surpassed the Paula Deen restaurant we went to and left us feeling satisfied. Family owned and such a great experience. If we are ever in the area again, we would come back in a heartbeat.”
“This is such a great spot! Small and very personalized with pic's of family and friends. Service was a little slow but they were busy and very friendly. Food was fresh ingredients, hot, and appeared to be made with lots of love. The fried grits were something unique and different, I liked them. Check them out you won't be disappointed that is for sure.”
“Super fun place filled wall to ceiling with 80s memorabilia - even had table top arcade games to play while you wait. Hot dogs were delicious and ranging anywhere from $3-5. Totally worth it!”
“Great place with great food. It's not expensive at all. I highly recommend you try this place out. Service was also super nice and knowledgeable about the area if your just traveling through.”
“After a 7 hour drive, we decided to take a chance…order pizza here and have it delivered. Good plan! Medium pizza was larger than a large at our favorite place at home. We also ordered the antipasto salad. Both were delicious!”
“We come in Thursday, this was your second time. Just like our first visit, it was awesome. The chicken salad sandwich is so good. The pasta is amazing. My husband got the Italian and loved it, my daughters got the philly cheese and said it was good.We will be back.”
“My family ate here this evening around 8:30. The servers were phenomenal. Even though we were there close to closing time, the food was outstanding. The cashier was exceptionally friendly. My son is 10 years old and wanted a burrito but did not want veggies in it, they cooked his meal perfect to his liking. Both mine and my husband’s food was amazing!! Each staff member we had contact with was great! If you are looking for an awesome place to eat in Maggie Valley this restaurant will not disappoint! Food was very reasonably priced and service is quick. 10 outta 10, we will definitely be back!”
“My husband and I were out in a ride and poked out head into this quaint health store. I had a question about a supplement, which turned into a wonderful informative conversation. Kathy is knowledgeable, informed, and kind. She is opened minded and gave a lot of helpful suggestions about a variety of topics. She is easy to talk to extremely helpful. Will definitely be back, as well will purchase online with her store! Thank you! ~ Jen and Russell”
“The owner/host is a dang delight. After a morning hike off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, it was time for lunch and sampling of local boozy goods. I had some spots in Maggie Valley bookmarked, so I made my way to the charming little hamlet. I initially wanted to get food and drink at the local brewery, but despite Yelp and Google saying they were open....that was not the case at all. So...just a little ways up the road was my other bookmarked place: B & C Winery. The whole of Maggie Valley seemed to be a bit deserted, but the winery (which also houses a pharmacy...weird, but you know...small town charming!) was open and I had the place to myself. The woman working greeted me right away and gave me a rundown of what I could do for a tasting while I looked over the multiple rows of offerings. There is almost too much to choose from, but you are sure to find something (or rather, several somethings) in your preferred sweetness or flavor palate.I enjoyed my tasting, enjoyed chatting with the proprietor and learning about the business, and I happily left with a couple bottles of wine to come home with me. I'm not sure I would encourage you to go too far out of your way to stop here. But if you were in the general area or passing through, it is definitely worth a little visit.”
“This tiny restaurant is a culinary gem in the small town of Maggie Valley. The staff and chef provided excellent service. I can honestly say that I had some of the best eggs Benedict of my life - black garlic bread, smoked salmon, roasted vegetables, and spot on Hollandaise. My husband ordered "the chef's whim" and loved the dish. They also sell pastries and breads. If you don't have a meal here you're missing out!”
“We are over for spring break for our kids and we were starving the reviews said this was the place to go and I am so glad we went! The burgers were so delicious!! We are a family of 5 and we all got burgers and my daughter got a grilled cheese off the kids menu and our total was almost $80...well worth it!Thanks for a delicious dinner!”
“Went here on an invite from some folks we met at Pop's for breakfastMy best friend and I decided to go listen to their music that evening. We were impressed by the atmosphere. The music was great. We ordered potato skins to spit since we weren't so hungry. They tasted good, came out hot. Will definitely return on our next visit. Friendly folks from that area. Everyone was down to earth and really genuine.”
“Teri as bartender is fantastic! I've never seen anyone move faster or handle more customers at the same time. She is attractive, personable and so competent. If I weren't already married I'd be on my knees asking her to marry me!”
“Overrated - this place was good. But to be 4.8 stars and rated one of the best pancake houses in NC? I don't think it was that good. My wife and I ordered pancakes (she got blueberry). They tasted like a lot of pancakes I have gotten at other places. Maybe we ordered wrong. If you go, just don't have high expectations.”
