“CUTE! We visited from Utah driving around the park and stopped here. Not at all what we were expecting and got so much more than we hoped. $17.95 for a 4 course meal and the food was SO delicious. Oh my word, it surpassed the Paula Deen restaurant we went to and left us feeling satisfied. Family owned and such a great experience. If we are ever in the area again, we would come back in a heartbeat.“
“This is such a great spot! Small and very personalized with pic's of family and friends. Service was a little slow but they were busy and very friendly. Food was fresh ingredients, hot, and appeared to be made with lots of love. The fried grits were something unique and different, I liked them. Check them out you won't be disappointed that is for sure.“
“This place is one of the very best if not the best breakfast and lunch spot in the Waynesville Maggie Valley area. The biscuits and gravy will cause you to 2nd guess ever leaving North Carolina. Family owned and just about the kindest folk you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. The staff keep the place clean and running smoothly with no hesitation to help and smiles when needed. I’ll definitely stop in each and every time I’m close. You will walk out with the feeling ready for the day and a smileParking: Easy parking and no stairs to enter“
“Went here on an invite from some folks we met at Pop's for breakfastMy best friend and I decided to go listen to their music that evening. We were impressed by the atmosphere. The music was great. We ordered potato skins to spit since we weren't so hungry. They tasted good, came out hot. Will definitely return on our next visit. Friendly folks from that area. Everyone was down to earth and really genuine.“
“Teri as bartender is fantastic! I've never seen anyone move faster or handle more customers at the same time. She is attractive, personable and so competent. If I weren't already married I'd be on my knees asking her to marry me!“
“Menu is limited I was expecting more of a selection but then again I am from up north so there is that. I will comment on your breakfast potatoes not sure but they tasted from a can and gross.... your fried chicken THE BOMB!!!!!side note: please put "pooperie" in your bathrooms. the smell from the bathroom came to the dinning room as we were seated near the door and was very unpleasant.“
“we are on vacation. this place did not have a dish that was on the menu . my husband didnt want anything else. the food we ordered was great. to make up for it they brought out three appetizers and gave us all dessert. they even went n got a steak and made for my husband. no restaraunt ive ever been to would not have done this. the food was amazing. def recommend if you are in area.“
“My husband and I were on a short anniversary trip this past weekend staying at Jonathan Creek Inn and wanted to find another nice local restaurant for dinner. This was the best place we could have chosen after a big disappointment at another local place the night before. I wish we had gone here the first night because we definitely would have come back the second night. The fried green tomato appetizer was AMAZING! It is served on a bed of grits and oh so delicious. My husband had the full rack of ribs and I had the hamburger steak. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and delicious. My hamburger steak was really good smothered in onions, mushrooms and gravy. Our server, Justin (I believe) was very nice and helped me decide between the meatloaf and the hamburger steak, giving me information on both. We took our dessert of Key Lime pie back to the room and enjoyed later which was also very good. The atmosphere is super cozy. We were asked if we would like to sit by the fireplace (of course we would!). We enjoyed watching the little train go back and forth up along the wall where there is a cute Christmas setting with lights. This is a great place to enjoy and delicious meal. We will definitely be back.“
“My wife and ordered our breakfast and it was just a awesome experience the eggs, Benedict was a 10 out of 10 it was awesome and the hash brown casserole was amazing and the red velvet pancakes were absolutely aphrodisiac.
