“We had two signature items from the menu that we have had many times. Not up to par this time (9-21-22). French onion soup was like warm. Mediterranean appetizer over browned. Italian pasta salad needed more oil and grated cheese. The added tofu was practically burnt and flavorless.“

I got the fried oysters and shrimp. the oysters were sweet and not over cooked like most seafood resturants! next time we go im going to try the raw oysters and have more fried oysters. “The Jarrett House hotel and interior looks great. They did a wonderful job on restoration; however, the restaurant food was horrible. We went for dinner and the food was bland and tasteless. The chicken was the best part of it but it ends there. From the biscuits, sides and desert were not appetizing at all and the ham had so much fat on it I was able to eat maybe a third of it. We never asked for any seconds due to it being so unappetizing. I was hoping for the Country ham they were so noted for in years past. Been local for 26 years and it will take a completely new menu with great tasting food and much more positive reviews before I will ever step back in it for dinner.“

“This is my 2nd favorite fast food restaurant in town, narrowly losing to the legend that is Sonic. Employees are friendly and efficient and the food is always cooked just right. Also the value is insane, especially with how fast food prices have gone up in recent years. My only quibble is that the drive through has a terrible audio system and I can barely understand what the workers are saying. Still, this is one of the best fast food joints I have ever visited. Cook Out rocks out!“

“The food was delicious. The service was for the most part good, but some of our order was missing. After waiting for her to come back I finally had to get up and hunt down our server, who was standing behind a partition talking with other employees. But she was apologetic and brought out the rest of our order very quickly. The food is a bit pricey but you get plenty of it. I loved the mozzarella cheese sticks, grilled chicken sandwich, and sweet potato fries. I ordered way too much, but it was just as good reheated the next day. We’ll be back.“

“We stopped in for lunch and very much enjoyed our sandwiches. The Philly cheese steak and BBQ chicken sandwich (which was more like a panini) were delicious and we highly recommend them! We also enjoyed the “white trash” snack mix we took home for a treat to enjoy later. We will definitely stop by again when we are in town.“

“Very aesthetic and they had the air conditioner on cold. (We were exploring the village and some places had it at like 76 degrees.) The lady in there was very nice and I bought a water bottle in there because I was SO HOT for like $2. My parents bought candy though and it was good.“

“The guy cooking the personal omelette's on Saturday morning was the BEST I have ever seen there at one time he had six different omelette requests on six burners ! It was amazing to watch and mine was perfect! We throughly enjoyed our breakfast. Our waitress was wonderful too very attentive unfortunately I can't remember her name but she was tall, older, fit, and wore glasses. We sat by the water in a booth!“

“We had a great experience at Guy’s restaurant! The place was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and our food was fresh and delicious. Portions were big. The bacon Mac and cheese burger was delicious! The burger hung way off the bun and the onion straws were a nice addition. It was my birthday, so I indulged in the cheesecake. Dude! They gave me a whole half!!! of cheesecake that came with potato chips and pretzels on it, drizzled with chocolate syrup. Potato chips were a bit odd, but the pretzels were awesome on it! ?❤️ Our waiter was very kind, the bus boy was very busy cleaning up after people and when we finished, he immediately came over and offered to take our plates. It was a wonderful meal and we will be back our trip up!“
