“I would recommend the fried seafood platter! I got the fried oysters and shrimp. the oysters were sweet and not over cooked like most seafood resturants! next time we go im going to try the raw oysters and have more fried oysters. I couldn't believe we could find such freash tasting oysters here in the mountains!“

“We had two signature items from the menu that we have had many times. Not up to par this time (9-21-22). French onion soup was like warm. Mediterranean appetizer over browned. Italian pasta salad needed more oil and grated cheese. The added tofu was practically burnt and flavorless.“

I highly recommend the crab rangoons as an app. Blackened shrimp fajitas are heaven, the andouille PoBoy is scrumptious, Crab Cakes are amazing, hands down the best crab legs in town. They have daily specials and I haven’t had anything I don’t like. The owners are truly genuine and so kind. It’s our favorite place to eat in town.“

“Rivers and Rails is incredible! We absolutely loved their fish and chips, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We stopped by RNR after our rafting trip in Dillsboro and accidentally lost a wallet during our visit. Two days later, it was found under a table by a customer, and thanks to Rhonda for figuring out how to contact us and the staff (especially Sky for safely securing it), we got it back before we had to fly back to Texas! Their kindness and honesty made a big impression on us. If you’re looking for great food and even better people, definitely check out Rivers and Rails!“

“We were seated in a nice quiet area with a fireplace, and heart confetti to celebrate our anniversary. The cocktails were excellent. Fresh sourdough bread to start, but skimped on the butter. French onion soup was delicious. My husband had the 8oz filet with truffle topping & garlic mash. My 6oz steak was definitely over cooked and honestly looked very unappealing. The waiter made me feel uncomfortable even commenting on it, even though he offered a manager, he made me feel like I was over reacting. We took our desserts to go, as they were included in our set meal. However it would have been a nice touch if they offered an anniversary cake or dessert. Overall we did enjoy, but have definitely had a better steak elsewhere.“

The nachos were equally impressive, piled high with fresh toppings and packed with bold, satisfying flavor. And the crème brûlée was the perfect finale — silky smooth custard with that flawless caramelized crack on top. Absolutely delicious. Beyond the incredible food, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Ayu made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout the entire meal. The restaurant is also fully wheelchair accessible, which makes it an inclusive and thoughtful choice for families and groups of all kinds.
