We went for lunch a couple of weeks ago from Canton. It’s the first time that we’ve been to the Maggie Valley location and I can’t say enough great things about it! We will definitely be back. Special shout out to the chef who made the amazing Pad Thai. I’ve been looking for authentic Pad Thai since I left the UK and moved to North Carolina. It was really fantastic! Beers, ambience and servers were amazing too!
Visited here in August 2024. The atmosphere of this place was amazing and that alone gives it a 10/10 for me. The cheesesteak that I had was one of the best I’ve ever tried and the staff was super sweet and helpful.
We had an unfortunate experience with a tubing outfitter next door, and bearwaters brewing and cold mtn tubing were so kind, took us out on the water last minute without reservation’s, and turned what could have been a bachelorette party disaster into a highlight of our trip!

Bearwaters Bistro Creekside is an amazing and excellent place to eat and rehydrate, providing a great experience from start to finish. The building is unique and quaint, offering a very nice atmosphere with beautiful creekside views on Jonathan Creek. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and pleasant. The food is excellent, with a great menu featuring perfectly cooked salmon, fresh and flavorful pizza, an amazing Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, awesome fries, and flat bread. The Honeydew Wheat beer is also great. The atmosphere is relaxing and creates an unforgettable setting. Guests highly recommend this neat little place, noting it is a gold mine and a home run, with many planning to definitely return.
