“Some of the best ice cream ever! The homemade warm waffle cones and bowls are definitely the best! Don't settle for plain cone or bowl!! Marian and Kat, two of the workers, are phenomenal and so friendly - helping people and staying calm no matter how many people are in there -whether an entire West Carolina Univ softball team or families with tons of little kids, even if one is by themself (which really shouldn't happen - because Jack the Dipper always packed when I go as they are so good). “Stopped in for breakfast after an appointment, as I didn't want something fast food. I was so pleased with my experience- I had a savory and a sweet crepe, both of which were delicious. The ladies working were very helpful and sweet as could be! The space itself is quaint and beautifully decorated, matches the lake theme wonderfully. I’d say this is a solid spot for breakfast or a quick bite, even in the winter.Kid-friendliness: Lots of little ones inside when I went, they all seemed happy and comfortable and the staff was very friendly to them & their families.“
