“This tiny restaurant is a culinary gem in the small town of Maggie Valley. The staff and chef provided excellent service. I can honestly say that I had some of the best eggs Benedict of my life - black garlic bread, smoked salmon, roasted vegetables, and spot on Hollandaise. My husband ordered "the chef's whim" and loved the dish. They also sell pastries and breads. If you don't have a meal here you're missing out!“
“This was my first visit and I was not disappointed! BEST MEXICAN IN THE COUNTY! The top shelf margaritas and mangonada were outstanding! The food amazing (had shrimp chimichanga) and the service delightful. “We’ve been meaning to try Fuego for months since we’ve been hearing everyone rave about it. Finally, we stopped in to have a beer and get take out. Lovely and inviting vibe, super friendly staff, and the food is the best we’ve had in the area. Cannot wait to go back. Our new go to. Go here at your first opportunity, you’ll be so happy you did.“
“Great tacos! I love the steak tacos here. Probably the best I have had. Their green sauce is perfect too. Most places around here the green sauce is so hot you can't even eat it. But Jose's green sauce is not too hot. The line sometimes is horrendous but that's because their food is great. Order ahead if you are able to, to keep from standing around waiting for your order.“
“Came here after a bike ride and got the Angel burrito, it was enormous. It was bomb though. I liked their green salsa too.I was only able to put down half before regretting my life. I stayed uncomfortably full from like 11a to 6p, then went to kbbq for dinner.Ate the second half of the burrito for breakfast the next morning before swimming in the ocean but I worked my way around the fries and tortilla because I decided I needed to watch my weight since I couldn't fit in my wetsuit after the first half of the burrito the day before.Would definitely come back but not sure if I would order the same thing for myself, maybe to share.“
“Great food but when you call and order if you want 2 chips and 2 queso you’d swear there’s a shortage the way every time they give me one chips and queso when I pay for 2. This has happened 10 times about. Great food friendly to your face but stingy with the best part of Mexican food ?“
“I second all the 5 star reviews. We were greeted by the owner, one of the nicest people we've ever met. She gave us good recommendations and even made us special salsa picante. She came by to check on us multiple times.Thank you.We were served with warm fresh chips and self serve salsa. The food was delicious, huge portions (the tilapia plate can probably serve 2 people) and reasonable price. None of us could finish our food. We also had some cold beer and horchata. All was delicious. We will definitely come back.Super bonus point: bathrooms are very clean. Love love“
“The tacos here are as close to authentic street tacos as you'll find anywhere, especially in western North Carolina.The store itself has a nice selection of of goodies, from a wall of spices to a wide array harder to find (in large grocery stores) snacks and sweets.Of course no tienda is complete without fresh postries...and this place has some delivered regularly.Now, if you're wanting real deal tacos and such, but don't speak Spanish, have no fear. Everyone I spoke with is bilingual.So go get yourself some tacos...or maybe a torta. Grab some stuff that looks interesting.Your stomach will thank you.“
“We have been going to Patron since it was located in the Walmart plaza. Since the relocation we had several poor experiences with service and food. Tonight that was different, we had an exceptional server, Natalie. And the food was fresh and delicious.“
“The food was surprisingly good. The chips were the best in the area and salsa and queso had a little spice to then which was nice. They are only serving food in to go containers/paper plates due to staffing shortage, so the fajitas don’t come out sizzling like you’re likely used to. We had to order at the counter but after that is was full service. The server was excellent and super friendly. It is a small indoor seating area, but at this point we will be back because honestly papas and beer hasn’t been great for a while.“
“Los Amigos is a wonderful surprise! A little ways away from Main Street, you'll walk in Los Amigos and feel right at home. We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in and all of the servers we encountered were very welcoming. Now on to the food, it's absolutely delicious. The chips and salsa were perfect! I ordered the Pollo Fundido and my husband ordered the. Steak Burrito. Both were out of hand delicious. The lunch prices are good 7 days a week which is an added plus. We visited during lunch and were very happy and surprised that lunchtime deal were available. Los Amigos definitely has something good going. We're looking to coming back for dinner to enjoy some margaritas with our meal.“
“Standard taco bell. There are more expensive options at $10-15 per meal. But there is still a value menu at $5-6 per meal is your savvy. My God was all properly prepared and came out quickly. I used the self check out as it gives me more time to look over the details on the menu. The lobby was fairly clean. Though no one was checking between people by any means. Odd note. They ran out of pennies and were keeping the change at the customers expense. Example: if the total was 9.96, taco bell kept the 4 cents. Not giving the penny back to the customer. Backwards from what I'd think was good customer service BUT, they could have used a card instead, and it's only a couple pennies.“
“My family ate here this evening around 8:30. The servers were phenomenal. Even though we were there close to closing time, the food was outstanding. The cashier was exceptionally friendly. My son is 10 years old and wanted a burrito but did not want veggies in it, they cooked his meal perfect to his liking. Both mine and my husband’s food was amazing!! Each staff member we had contact with was great! If you are looking for an awesome place to eat in Maggie Valley this restaurant will not disappoint! Food was very reasonably priced and service is quick. 10 outta 10, we will definitely be back!“
