We've rounded up Pigeon Forge's top Mexican spots for you to try.
“Cozy mom and pop with quick and friendly service. I had the carne asada and nachos ? Everything was amazing ? I would definitely eat here again the next time I'm in Tennessee. Actually, I want to make another trip to TN JUST to eat here ??“
“The salsa was great, chips were fresh. The food took a long time to arrive after ordering, although it was very good once it arrived. However, the music was much too loud, my granddaughter got a headache and we had to go outside and sit for fresh air and quieter atmosphere. It was difficult to hear the person talking that was sitting right next to me. If it had not been for the music volume, it would have been a much more pleasant experience. Also, although the food took a long time to arrive, we were checked on several times by various wait staff.“
“We are locals and this is our favorite spot. One of very few that we do NOT consider a tourist trap mess. Regardless of who waits on you, consistently the friendliness staff in town; always treat us so well. They have great lunch specials as well as daily specials. Highly recommend!“
“The food was average. Not bad, but not awesome . The portion size is great for the price. The service is good and the restaurant was clean. I loved the authentic Mexican music and the atmosphere. The only really negative comnent would be that they do not serve chips with salsa or quest.“
“I enjoyed it although my hubby not so much. Not sure if we got the best service as we were clearly tourists and I expect the owner decided to charge us “what the market would bear” since there were no listed prices. Disappointed that we couldn’t get a beer with our dinner.“
“I had a mixed experience at the restaurant. The service and food were good, our waiter was super nice and helpful, but our attempt to find a warm spot inside due to the cold weather was unsuccessful. The overall atmosphere inside the restaurant was chilly, impacting our enjoyment.“
“We went on a Thursday night. It was not crowded at all. Very clean and friendly staff. the Complimentary chips were warm and fresh. Our food came out just as we ordered it, and was very delicious. I was looking forward to a glass of wine, but the server said they were out. One thing I did not like, they added a tip automatically and did not tell us. It was just the 2 of us, I did not think that was necessary. Unless folks in Pigeon Forge are known to be cheap tippers!!! Still, I would go back.“
“First time trying Azul in Pigeon Forge! Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere, very clean too! The wait staff are kind and attentive. McKenna was our server and she was amazing! My husband and i split the chips and queso blanco as well as the chicken fajitas. All very flavorful! We asked for corn tortillas and they taste fresh and home made. Already planning our next visits back!“
