“It was our first time in Pigeon Forge. What a great vacation overall. We stumbled across Sunliner Diner and oh my goodness what a find. We grew up in the era of the diner's atmosphere. Fantastic decor and the music was right on point. The guests were even singing along OUTLOUD! We had Chris as our server and boy was he attentive. Nothing was missed. He even took time to talk to us personally with out jeopardizing his other customers. We were there 3 different days and meal times. All of them were great. If you want a blast from the past, dont miss Sunliner Diner”

“Despite massive crowds on a Monday night which, judging from the size of their parking lot is likely every night, we were seated almost 20 minutes early for our 8:15 reservation. Our server was friendly and made great suggestions, was attentive for refills despite having a full section, and the drinks (fresh juices for the kids and Lemon Blueberry Cider for the Mrs and I) were awesome and refreshing after a long humid day at nearby Dollywood! The food was excellent and everyone left happy!”

“We went there 1/10/2025 beautiful rainy day, the restaurant wasn’t packed. The atmosphere was nice, Cuban music, Cuban desserts and sodas at a glance. We were attended quickly, we got our cold drinks and the appetizers freshly made. The beef empanada and ham croquettes were amazing. Then we got the pork chunks and the shredded beef, the entrees come with white rice, beans, and your choice of tostones or maduros (no yuca that day). Finally we got a tres leches as dessert and cafesito (Cuban coffee). Overall we give it a 9 in our opinion, just because the shredded meat was a bit tough.”

“Off the main strip lovely place if you have gone to a Brazilian steak house imagine that sub the steak for flavorful pizzas my favorite was the Quatro Queijos my hubby loved the nachos pizza. the garlic parmasan wings were so tasty. Gabrielle(a) was such a sweet and nice person, explained everything to us and made sure we were full before we left. it was like eating at a friends house and them taking care of you.”

“All the food was delicious. The kids loved the experience. I chose applesauce as their side and the portion was underwhelming, but the quality of the main courses was excellent. The game card for the kids was a nice touch. The quality and variety of the games in the arcade was so fun and entertaining. As an OT and mom I appreciate they have a nursing room and calming room for overstimulated kids (or adults!). Great addition to Pigeon Forge!”

“I had the pleasure of dining at your facility with a cousin and his wife on Friday September 5th. We were greeted warmly by the front desk, seated and informed that Ashley would be our server. She arrived at the table welcomed us, introduced herself and ask if we had drink orders. She took them and left to let us survey your diverse menu. When she returned with drinks she asked if we were ready to order. We were and did, she wrote nothing down! She then told us of some of the exciting memorabilia displayed around your facility. Famous guitars of several world-renowned musicians. Ashley returned with our food and accurately placed each dish at the proper place. Again, without having written anything down. Very good at what she does! Shortly, another of your staff visited to introduce herself, Tina Wilson. Again, very friendly and entertaining. Asking us about our stay in Pigeon Forge, where were we from and more about the exciting stuff at your restaurant. During the delightful conversation she learned that I had just celebrated my 75th birthday. As we finished our meals she returned with a surprise gift, a birthday sundae and she sang a very inspiring Happy Birthday for me. My cousin, his wife and I were just in awe of the friendly and totally professional attitude of these two employees, Tina and Ashley. You should be very proud of these two representing your establishment. Oh, I also got a nice card signed by many of your employees. A totally unexpected and enjoyable experience all the way around. Bravo to all.”

“We brought our little peekapoo (Pekingese/poodle) with us and our server bought water for our little dog. Pancakes and waffles were amazing. I had the hungry baren (scrambled eggs, slices of apple wood bacon, bratwurst, country potatoes served with a biscuit) it was delicious! I definitely recommend this place.”

“My daughter has a severe dairy, egg, and tree nut allergy. She can't eat out at most restaurants due to risk of cross contamination. My husband read that Mellow Mushroom had a vegan menu, so I called to ask what procedures they use for the vegan items to see if her food could safely be prepared separately from allergen items. I spoke with the manager, Drew, who not only said, "Absolutely we can safely prepare her food, no problem," but then he walked through all the steps that would be taken to ensure her food would be safe. That gave this very anxious allergy mom much needed reassurance and comfort. When we arrived, he came over and introduced himself and again reassured us he would take care of our sweet girl. He even made the pizza himself and returned to our table to explain the safety precautions he took. He truly went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was able to enjoy a meal out. I can't express how much that meant to me and my family. Very thankful to Drew for such a great experience! 10/10 recommend, especially for anyone with strict allergy avoidance.”

It was delicious! Highly, Highly, recommend. My husband ordered the steak and eggs and really enjoyed it. It was not a thick cut, but flavorful. Enjoy!”

“We stopped in to grab some breakfast and ordered a few things off of the sides menu, the breakfast tacos and the beignets. My boyfriend who ordered the breakfast tacos was unaware that the mango salsa that came on them had tomatoes and onions in it. He has a food sensitivity to onions and while trying to pick through the tacos to get them all out a waiter noticed he was unhappy with his meal and pulled our waitress, Mariah (hopefully this is the right name as it was the only name on our receipt), to the side to have her check on us. My boyfriend didn't want to cause a big fuss but she insisted that his food be replaced with something he would be happier eating. He ended up ordering an omelet, which he said was delicious. Mariah was super sweet and definitely knows how to take care of her customers. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. Our favorite thing that we ordered was the beignets. They were delicious. The grits are also super good. Thank you to the staff who took care of us today! Sorry we didn't catch all of your names but you were all very much appreciated!”

The fact she thought coming back to the table to say she heard chicken parm after the order was delivered and we sent it back, is reason I'm even leaving a review.

She didn’t rush me or treat me like an idiot for taking time to pick out what I wanted. Very patient compared to my usual experience at the Subway back home. This was also the cleanest Subway I had ever been to, the food looked SO FRESH I wish I took a picture. The woman ringing me up asked me if I wanted to make it a combo with chips and a drink which actually saved me some money, so kind of her. This is the customer service we want from a Subway, these ladies are doing a really great job, GIVE THEM A RAISE SUBWAY !!!!”

My margarita was a little water down. My server definitely forgot about my drink by the time she bought it full of condensation. Family of 4 we paid $104 before tipping. My server was new so will give her grace she definitely gave 110 percent.”

“We had been to Kermits in Key West, FL and loved it. We were greatly surprised when we saw this location at the Island in Pigeon Forge. We love the original Key Lime Pie. Thus was our first time trying the Strawberry Key Lime pie, and it is amazing. OMG. Had to buy the dog toy slice of Key Lime Pie. As you can see in the picture, Jack, our mini golden doodle loved his too. 😆”
