“This was our 2nd time at BM and it did not disappoint. Our favorite activity was making baskets with Annie, who was a great teacher. We also enjoyed wine & cheese tasting with Cara (so knowledgeable), whiskey tasting with Callum (relayed fascinating stories & made the history interesting), and mixology with Kendal (so down to earth & personalized it for us since it was just the 2 of us). We ate at Three Sisters 3 nights and the Firetower once and the rotating menu items keep you from getting the same thing twice. We tried the Valley pool once, but if you didn't bring your own kids, you'll want to stick to the Lodge pool which has an amazing view and is quieter and with great service by Nate. Shout-outs also to RJ, Zane, Bryson, and Dwayne for making us feel at home. The only negatives were that the pillows are a bit flat and the mattresses are soft so we both had backaches the first couple of mornings, and the charges for the activities end up being more than listed by $50-150 for some reason (taxes or service charges I assume, TBH we didn't ask). Important to know, but you understand when you book here that you're going to spend big bucks, and we found that the service and the mountain experience were worth it.”
“What a wonderful spot to enjoy a beautiful day. Service and food were excellent! I live nowhere near here but already have told anyone that ever happens to be in the area to go here! The onion rings!!!”
“As always, you can count on the absolute best culinary cuisine, outstanding service and an enjoyable environment at Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro and tonight was no exception! We took our family there tonight including our three grandchildren and the experience was exceptional! Our grand kids enjoyed their meals, the fires including the s'mores and the bubbles provided by the staff! All in all, a wonderful evening!”

“Excellent place to grab a coffee and pastry to start the day. Great coffee....personally I like the dark roast over their medium but that's a matter of taste.”
“Great environment. Ordered the house latte which I would highly recommend. Not too sweet. Their sizes are massive. Delicious burritos. Gluten friendly options available. Not overpriced. Super cute merch too. Definitely go!”
“My family and I were in Walland, Tennessee on vacation. And we stopped for lunch at the grasshoppers; The food, service and food varieties were excellent. We recommend and enjoy good Mexican food like us.Greetings from Miami, Fl.”
“These are the BEST street style tacos that you will find in Maryville. The only bad experience was receiving the wrong tacos in a to go order. I called, and the manager was more than happy to correct the mistake and was VERY apologetic.”
“Stopped here on the way to the National Park and it was amazing! The donut holes were perfectly light and melt in your mouth good. The breakfast sandwiches were awesome as well. If you go past, you have to try it!”
“Very nice and cozy place. The service was nice and friendly. Shelly was so nice and welcoming. She was always making sure everything was well and too our liking. The food was good and tasteful. The kids bear pancake was huge and cute. I would recommend if you are in the town.”
“A wonderful little shop just off the beaten path with a path of its own in the back. Grab a great cup of coffee or something tasty and take a stroll through the woods after. Love this place.”
“Josh the bartender was awesome! He really gave us a lot of cool information on the area and about the brewery. Drinks and food were great, awesome service and the icecream afterwards, worth every bit!!Thanks Josh!Jacob & Ross”
“I'm giving Elvira's 5 stars because of outstanding service. The food was good to average. Prices were high even for a tourist area. My wife and I both had cheeseburgers. Cheeseburger's were above average, great tasting, and lean. Menu seemed limited but I can vouch for the food and service.”
“It is a very nice place with a good atmosphere, very clean. The only thing was that the "mondo go" had an air to "ajiaco con menudo". But it was still very tasty!”
“This cute coffee shop is perfect in every way. I could stop there but you might be wondering why. 1. Local shop with individual attention to detail, taste and personalization 2. Live music at select times 3. Huge menu and selection of not only coffee 4. Comfortable, varied seating options. Couches, chairs, tables, rockers Our barista was working alone this Tuesday morning but was efficient and friendly. I wish this shop was close to home, but alas, it's only a vacation spot for me. Good vibes all around.”
“We made reservations and got seated promptly, we learned from our last visit when we had to wait an hour with no reservations. The booth bench s are very uncomfortable, next time we will request a table. The service is okay, the food is better than average, and overall, we like the location and atmosphere.”
“Gotta try the Cuban and the Sloppy Jose!!! Best sandwiches around! Get the red and black beans mixed with rice! It’s my wife and my go to sandwich spot! Inside, makes you feel like you’re in a cafe in Havana.”
“We have our annual church picnic here...it's located right on the Little River and the kids love tubing, and playing in the water. We've had baptisms too. They have quite a few nice picnic tables, and there are lots of nice tall trees to provide shade. Convenient to Townsend, Maryville and Seymour.”
“Atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff make it truly feel like you just walked into Grandma's! Food is amazing and cooked to order. This is one of my new go to dinners?Parking: Parking is limited but there's not generally a lot of people there. Which makes this spot have the most intimate experience.”
“What a great gem this place is! The girl helping us was super friendly and had recommendations for us. Everything was to die for! Sassafras truffle and lavender truffle are so good! Prices were very reasonable. Stop by and see them!”
“Very happily surprised. It's almost home made! We enjoyed the large spinach mushroom regular crust pizza and can't wait to try the pan pizza. I love how you bake it yourself so it's fresh and hot out of your oven.”
“Good home style food and great people! A must stop if you are in the area for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Everyone is super friendly and the dishes they produce are fantastic and filling.”
“The food here is AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about how delicious everything is. The staff are very friendly and courteous. I cannot wait for my next Abbey dinner.”
“This place is the best. The lo mein is always great, fried dumplings are amazing. Food is always delicious, service is excellent. Being close to the house makes it even better for take-out. I just can't say enough good about Empire Garden.”
“Best Mexican food in South Knoxville! This place is super authentic, serves fresh, quality food, it's easily the best Mexican restaurant around.Service was superb, very warm and welcoming, and everyone was smiling the whole time (even the bus boy). They even turned on Moana for our girls when they saw us coming in.And don't skip the churros, they're the best I've ever had! Plus they gave us a couple extra for free! They definitely go above and beyond here and make you feel appreciated. We'll be running back here!”
“This was cool because it was just the vibe in general that I liked. The ambiance and atmosphere were really tranquil. The decor was done so nicely and it came off as fancy rustic. I really enjoyed myself. I highly recommend that you stop by.”
“If you haven't tried Baskin-Robbins ice cream you need to give it a shot. There are like 50 flavors some are seasonal... German chocolate, winter white chocolate.. pumpkin cheesecake...my fav lemon custard. And the vanilla has a really good taste to it .There are multiple flavors that are geared to children.”
“Loved the crispness of the fried green tomatoes, catfish, and okra. Not oily at all! Pot roast was delish too. The young waitress was wonderful.... attentive and friendly.”
“Great local small business. If you haven't tried a loaded teas, or found a protein shake you like give Heritage a try. The recommdation of a white snicker bar shake was really tasty. Always greeted with a warm welcome.”
“We recently got married and had our wedding cake made by Foxden baking Co. We could not possibly be any happier with our experience! We wanted our cake to included our 3 little pups and the cake exceeded our expectations. Our wedding cake was the best part of the evening and all of our guests agreed! Could not recommend Melissa more!!”
