What a wonderful spot to enjoy a beautiful day. Service and food were excellent! I live nowhere near here but already have told anyone that ever happens to be in the area to go here! The onion rings!!!
The absolute best kind of Restaurant- a family owned and cozy with a friendly atmosphere. The food and service were excellent. Be sure to try it the next time you are in Townsend.We look forward to returning on our next trip to the area.

After reading their reviews, we decided to try the Snoring Bear Diner for lunch. We were not disappointed! We sat outside, the servers were pleasant and attentive, and the food great. No complaints about the bistro burger, chicken Philly, or Hawaiian tacos. Even the fried okra was yummy. I brought a piece of the lemon blueberry cheesecake home. The piece is huge! I'll be enjoying it for days!The Snoring Bear is a great find!
