“We had dinner at Howard’s last night (8-13). We had a beautiful table over looking the water. Our waitress was great. I wish I had remembered her name but was she was from Romania. We were a party of 4, 3 had the ribeye and 1 the filet. All were cooked perfectly. It was a nice way to celebrate my partners birthday! Thanks again for a nice evening!”

“An absolute explosion of flavor! I ordered the gumbo with shrimp and lobster, and it was incredible. The freshness, aroma, and perfectly balanced spices made the entire experience worth it.

The ambiance is really cool too—you’re surrounded by walls covered with dollar bills, each one uniquely designed and signed by guests, which gives the place a fun and memorable character.

The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. You can genuinely tell they care about their customers and want everyone to have a great experience.

“I’m an ice cream snob who lives in northern Illinois, just miles from Wisconsin. I work in a dairy factory. I have high standards for ice cream as it’s my favorite treat. My wife and I just spent a week in Gatlinburg. Lots to see and do. This is the only place that was so good that I had to go a second time before heading back home. The ice cream was rich, delicious, a significant step above several others in the area (trust me I nearly tried them all). I was especially impressed with their chocolate which had honey in it. They must use quality ingredients that cost extra for the owners because this doesn’t taste mass produced. It has real artisan flavor. My only regret is that it’s 10 hours away from home. At least I bought a pretty pottery coffee cup to remember them by.”

The iced Raspberry Mocha was delicious and just what I needed. Customer service was amazing and the coffee was made quickly. Be sure to check them out when you visit.”

“What an amazing experience we had on 9/8/26. After a trip to Cherokee and seeing all the fisherman out catching Trout we really wanted to try it. We stumbled upon the Trout House and it had great reviews. We were immediately greeted by a gentleman and the service was on point the whole dinner. Hush Puppies and Chips delicious, Trout Fritters delicious and the Blackened Trout and Cole Slaw were five ⭐️. It was nice to try something new. We will be back!!”

“Great candy shop. You can watch them roll out the fudge make it and cut it up for sale. They also make cookies candy and other treats. We got cookies n cream, penutbutter and chocolate, and dubai chocolate fudge they did a buy2 get 1 free so we paid $35 for 3 large chunks. Not to bad i got pics of them alert the kids ate it up. Definitely a must stop at store.”

“We flew in from Washington state, starting our trip in Nashville, then Pigeon Forge and decided to spend one of our last days in Gatlinburg. On a whim, stopped at Waffle De Lys. The pictures on the menu looked yummy, but most of the time the food doesn’t look like the pictures. That wasn’t the case here! The waffle came out looking just like the picture. Now for the taste. It was hands down the best thing I had in Tennessee!! Best waffle I’ve ever had in my life! The toppings were amazing. I had the oh la la. The waffle itself is different than any other waffle. I can’t even describe it, but it’s delicious! I finished it and realized I didn’t even take a photo of the beautiful creation! The only thing I’m bummed about is that I didn’t find this place sooner! If we’re ever back in Tennessee, I would drive out of my way to stop here! Great, friendly customer service too!”

“We live in the area but to be honest after my hubby was unimpressed with the quality and service when he ate here during our first year we had not been back. Then we realized it is under new ownership and we have been missing out for two-years! I had the Morning Mist Chicken Sandwich and it was wonderful. Hubby had the cheese steak which he said was tasty and very generous with the meat. Service was quick and friendly. Excited to have another lunch option nearby.”

“This is a good quick breakfast option if you're staying at the resort. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The meat sandwiches on bagel, english muffin or croissant are a good bet, and come with potatoes. My wife enjoyed her egg white omelete and fruit plate meals. The coffee drinks were enjoyed as well. The staff was all friendly and the food came out quick. See my photos and judge for yourself - it all tasted good to us! Recommended.”

“This store is rare to find anywhere!! I traveled here just to get the cinnamon rolls. They were closed!! 😫 I missed them by 10 mins. They were still cleaning up so I just took a picture to show my sister I at least made it there even though they were closed. John the manager saw me looking pitiful n defeated i assume standing outside lol! He unlocked & opened the door & said are u alright? I pleaded my case nicely that I came a long way to get 2 rolls for me & my sister! I'd be so grateful to have some if any were left. He said no we threw them all away. We both laughed! He opened the door & let me in. I was thrilled with excitement at my good fortune. Amazing store with fantastic smells of sweet goodies! Super yummy rolls too! John is a very special person & so kind to uplift my spirits by letting me in. I'll never forget that! Being kind means so much Thank You John! You made my whole day! I will definitely be back! Soon!

“My wife and I were there celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and we were trying to figure out where to eat. The atmosphere and music were great on the third level bar. However, we decided not to stay after spending $27 on a Bud Light and a Jack and Coke. I expected it to be a little bit more expensive on the Parkway, but I thought that was ridiculous.”

“Big shout out to this restaurant and manager, Riley and his team! Fantastic service in catering a taco bar night for our family reunion in Gatlinburg. Food was wonderful and aplenty. Great value for what we received. They are very accommodating also in making sure the gluten free corn taco shells were even fried in a different fryer. Very considerate in offering this service for my daughter even though she is not allergic, Riley offered to make sure all was gluten free...nice extra step. Riley was very timely and communicative. Thank you so much for a successful and yummy dinner!”
