Smoky Mountain Trout House Reviews
Sometimes it doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad because if it’s bad places don’t often care because there will always be new tourists to sucker in. 🤷🏻♀️ if it’s good then so be it.
The food and service was amazing only issue is I ate way too much 🫣
Very well prepared trout. We had the blackened and the butterfly trout. Both were amazing. This place is off the main drag a little bit, but not near busy enough for what it was. If you are staying on the main drag for dinner, you are missing out.

Smoky Mountain Trout House is a hidden gem that provides exceptional dining experiences. The restaurant offers a variety of trout dishes, including broiled, grilled, lemon pepper, blackened, and Parmesan Trout, all of which have received praise for their excellence. Reviewers have highlighted the amazing food, calling it a must-try destination. The trout fritters and trout fritters as an appetizer are particularly noted for their deliciousness. The service is consistently good, with friendly and welcoming staff that make every visit enjoyable. Located away from the hustle and bustle, the restaurant has free parking and a nearby trolley stop for easy access. The place is not fancy, but the food is excellent, and it focuses mainly on trout, which many say is better than what can be found at larger, fancier restaurants. It can get busy because it’s a small place, but visitors recommend giving it a try. Overall, Smoky Mountain Trout House is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys fresh fish and a great atmosphere.
