“We had dinner at Howard’s last night (8-13). We had a beautiful table over looking the water. Our waitress was great. I wish I had remembered her name but was she was from Romania. We were a party of 4, 3 had the ribeye and 1 the filet. All were cooked perfectly. It was a nice way to celebrate my partners birthday! Thanks again for a nice evening!“

“We always eat here every trip, and have fir years. This trip, we have eaten here twice. The food is great, but our waitress, Kris, is phenomenal. You can tell she loves her job and she is such a light. She is so warm, welcoming, and friendly and we will ALWAYS ask for her when we come back. As much as we love the food, we came back for the 2nd time this trip just to have Kris again because we knew we wpuld be well taken care of. She truly goes above and beyond and we didn't have to ask for anything. She just knew what we needed. She even remembered our drink orders from the day before. I truly hope Log Cabin knows what a wonderful and special person she is and how fortunate they are to have her as a waitress. “We recently went to Gatlinburg and chose the Pancake Pantry for breakfast. We had such a great experience that we went back every day we were there! Service was as too-notch every time, but just for us, but also for everyone around us that I could see. Every staff member was working their hardest to ensure fast and friendly service. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean, as well as the staff areas. My son got the chocolate chip waffle each day, I had the pecan waffle with strawberries and my husband tried the peach crepes, the apple walnut crepes and the Morning Star breakfast. He thought they were all great but the peach crepes were his favorite. The management really stood out to me and it was evident that they not only cared about their customers but also their staff. They were kind and helpful to them, assisted with bussing tables, filling coffee, and making sure they had what they needed to be success. We had great conversations with the GM Dave and his “stunt double”, Jason. The Pancake Pantry seems to have found the secret to a perfect dining experience. We look forward to our next trip down. Maybe my son & I’ll get crazy and try pancakes - I hear they are the best!“

You can do a tasting though without reservations. It's $5 for just the moonshine part and I think it was $9 and you got whiskey as well. “I can not put into words the experience we just had at this restaurant. I have had unbelievable meals in the past, but this is #1 on my list. “Hidden gem right on the strip. Been here to Gatlinburg a dozen times a least and never tried it here. Let me say, it doesn't disappoint! I got the Gyro Pizza and the wife got the Gyro sandwich. Both were amazing. Definitely give this place a try. You won't regret it!! I ordered the medium, ate 3 pieces and still have a ton left!“

“Stopped in on a whim for a cider tasting. Every single cider we tried we enjoyed — that is a wonderful experience! Can’t wait to order and have more at home. I wish I could remember his name, maybe Dan?, one of the managers made it very enjoyable with his knowledge and personality. 100% would recommend and even though we didn’t buy cider today I can’t wait to recommend you guys when people see me wearing your shirt. “We like this kind of places: simple, not pretentious, relaxing, not fancy at all. It feels like a neighborhood bar, which we love. We had an appetizer and a couple beers. As usual, I don’t post opinions about beer because I might be biased-I’m a beer lover- but we had a good time. The hot sticks are spicy and cheeesyyyy… can’t wait to go back!!

Parking: You may park across the street, but that’s it. We stayed at the hotel half block down the street so we kept the car there. Otherwise, you have to arrange parking before planning to get here.“

“Food was on point, wait staff was attentive and accommodating however the bartender is so cute that he doesn’t have to know how to make a drink at all apparently. Manager had to make one of three, the one he made was undrinkable but still charged and the third never even made it to the table. When bartender was asked after 15 minute about the drink the answer was “I don’t know, ask your waiter”.Yes apparently he is that pretty he doesn't even need to be courteous to clients.“

“Came up with family for a weekend trip last week. Rosemary was our waitress and made our dinner enjoyable. Kept our drinks full and provided excellent service. Went to gift shop for something to take home was really pricey but the nice girl behind the desk chelsey showed us the clearance merchandise and ended up with some really nice things at a good price. However, we left behind a item we got at Ober Mountain that afternoon and we didn’t know it was left there u til returning home to NC. I called and David answered the phone and confirmed our item was there. He said give him a purple days and he will ship it to us. “The food was sooo delicious! I never had this amazing Mexican food in a very long time. The service was excellent as our waiter was very caring, making sure we had enough food and drinks at our table. Atmosphere was relaxed, very cute decors there. Also, when we first got there, we got our chips, salsa, ordered our food and drinks, the food came very quickly as didn’t wait long at all. My family and I really enjoyed it.
