“An absolute explosion of flavor! I ordered the gumbo with shrimp and lobster, and it was incredible. The freshness, aroma, and perfectly balanced spices made the entire experience worth it.

The ambiance is really cool too—you’re surrounded by walls covered with dollar bills, each one uniquely designed and signed by guests, which gives the place a fun and memorable character.

The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. You can genuinely tell they care about their customers and want everyone to have a great experience.

“We had dinner at Howard’s last night (8-13). We had a beautiful table over looking the water. Our waitress was great. I wish I had remembered her name but was she was from Romania. We were a party of 4, 3 had the ribeye and 1 the filet. All were cooked perfectly. It was a nice way to celebrate my partners birthday! Thanks again for a nice evening!“

“We are normally dry red wine drinkers. However their fruity and mostly sweet (some are tart) wine here is amazing. Had to buy the blueberry, but so many we tasted were delicious! We will probably order more varieties when we get home since we are flying out.“

“What a fun experience. The place was super busy, but after a short wait, we were able to belly up to the bar and start our taste testing. Our bar tender was awesome. Super friendly and a barrel of laughs. We loved all the great samples, and they had a great deal going on, so we came home with plenty to drink. If you visit all 3 locations and get a stamp, you get a free T-shirt. We will definitely come back for another visit..“

“My favorite cider here is the cider doughnut ! Place was very pretty on the inside and clean. I had Jeremy as my taster when I got engaged last year and he was there again tonight for my bachelorette! He’s always so kind and so fun so go for him! I hope he’s there when I’m here for my honeymoon!! Highly recommend their cider“

“Do you like your griddle cakes about 4 inches tall??? Then this is the place for you. Tons of pancake spots in Gatlinburg, this one is exceptional. We had the griddle cake, the waffle, the candied apples and corned beef hash. I’m not sure I knew what a griddle cake was, but it’s basically like a pancake and some corn bread started a family together. Delicious! Fat and fluffy and savory and buttery. The candied apples were sweet and dripping with sugary butter and were so heavenly on the griddle cakes. There’s just too many options! Candied apples, syrup, whipped butter. The waffle was just as good the griddle cake, golden brown and crispy. And a little savory compliment to all of it was the corned beef hash, it was fresh and not greasy and you could taste the potatoes and onion and beef individually. The service was prompt and friendly, the atmosphere is a fun old mountain log cabin, and the music is great. Real mountain strings with heart and soul, not like some of the faux nouveau mainstream country crap they play in the tourist spots all over Gatlinburg. One of the great breakfasts of my life on one of the great vacations of my life in the Great Smoky Mountains. If you need delicious breakfast in this neck of the woods this is the spot.“

“I’m an ice cream snob who lives in northern Illinois, just miles from Wisconsin. I work in a dairy factory. I have high standards for ice cream as it’s my favorite treat. My wife and I just spent a week in Gatlinburg. Lots to see and do. This is the only place that was so good that I had to go a second time before heading back home. The ice cream was rich, delicious, a significant step above several others in the area (trust me I nearly tried them all). I was especially impressed with their chocolate which had honey in it. They must use quality ingredients that cost extra for the owners because this doesn’t taste mass produced. It has real artisan flavor. My only regret is that it’s 10 hours away from home. At least I bought a pretty pottery coffee cup to remember them by.“

“I was on the hunt for coffee before we stared out day in Gatlinburg. My husband found this shop tucked away in a corner so I gave it a go. The iced Raspberry Mocha was delicious and just what I needed. Customer service was amazing and the coffee was made quickly. Be sure to check them out when you visit.“

“We live in the area but to be honest after my hubby was unimpressed with the quality and service when he ate here during our first year we had not been back. Then we realized it is under new ownership and we have been missing out for two-years! I had the Morning Mist Chicken Sandwich and it was wonderful. Hubby had the cheese steak which he said was tasty and very generous with the meat. Service was quick and friendly. Excited to have another lunch option nearby.“

“We always eat here when we are in town! Their pot pie is amazing!! We were there one night when they were very short staffed ( last year )and he actually gave our waitress money out of his own pocket because she always showed up when she was supposed to and complemented her in front of a lot of customers. “We enjoyed the Sky Cafe the touchscreen self-service that they had was challenging especially the sun was bright and we couldn't read the menu very well and that's the only way you can order food we got the chicken tenders and fries for the kids they were okay overall it's not bad they have beer wine and other stuff but you can't beat that million dollar View“

“I went to this hotel twice within a two month span. First time for a weekend getaway and second time for my family Summer vacation. This place is great. The rooms are very well kept and the beds are so comfortable! They also have a wonderful pool with a hot tub, kiddy pool and a waterslide. I would recommend going to the restaurant with the bar at this hotel. My family and I got dinner from there the first night and it was delicious! The wait staff is amazing and extremely friendly. But the one thing that set this place above the rest for me was them taking my meat allergy seriously! When my family and I had breakfast there the first day I was very concerned on cross contamination with the buffet-style breakfast. My mother went to ask the chef cooking omelettes if there is anything I could eat (besides the pastries, cereal and fruit) that would not interfere with my allergy. The chef, Edward, went above and beyond to make sure that I could have some of the menu items by cleaning the grill and putting on clean gloves each time I wanted a certain food. I definitely recommend The Park Vista!“

“Big shout out to this restaurant and manager, Riley and his team! Fantastic service in catering a taco bar night for our family reunion in Gatlinburg. Food was wonderful and aplenty. Great value for what we received. They are very accommodating also in making sure the gluten free corn taco shells were even fried in a different fryer. Very considerate in offering this service for my daughter even though she is not allergic, Riley offered to make sure all was gluten free...nice extra step. Riley was very timely and communicative.
