“Do you like your griddle cakes about 4 inches tall??? Then this is the place for you. Tons of pancake spots in Gatlinburg, this one is exceptional. We had the griddle cake, the waffle, the candied apples and corned beef hash. I’m not sure I knew what a griddle cake was, but it’s basically like a pancake and some corn bread started a family together. Delicious! Fat and fluffy and savory and buttery. The candied apples were sweet and dripping with sugary butter and were so heavenly on the griddle cakes. There’s just too many options! Candied apples, syrup, whipped butter. The waffle was just as good the griddle cake, golden brown and crispy. And a little savory compliment to all of it was the corned beef hash, it was fresh and not greasy and you could taste the potatoes and onion and beef individually. The service was prompt and friendly, the atmosphere is a fun old mountain log cabin, and the music is great. Real mountain strings with heart and soul, not like some of the faux nouveau mainstream country crap they play in the tourist spots all over Gatlinburg. One of the great breakfasts of my life on one of the great vacations of my life in the Great Smoky Mountains. If you need delicious breakfast in this neck of the woods this is the spot.“

“My wife and I ate here on 9/7/26 and we had a great experience. It was not too busy, even though Crockett’s next door has a crowd outside waiting to get in. Our waiter, I believe his name was Dennis, was excellent. He was very friendly and attentive and it seemed like his job was effortless for him. He made sure we were taken care of, including filling drinks without us asking for more. I had biscuits and gravy with eggs and home fries. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the biscuits and gravy were decent with plenty of sausage. My wife had a waffle and she said it was the fluffiest waffle she’s ever had. The staff as whole seemed to be on top of their jobs and were friendly. We would definitely consider going back if we return to Gatlinburg.“

“Service was horrible . You weren’t busy had to ask 3 times for water. Cop an attitude. The host is in the wrong location . She can’t see people walking in. Even when they did she never went around to greet customers. She was on her on phone .“

“The vibe and atmosphere here are everything. Wow, this place really blew me away.

To begin, the manager seemed very hands-on, even helping the staff clear and set up a table for us. They also accommodated our request to sit by the window for the beautiful view, despite that area being shut down for the rest of the night, which I really appreciated. The entire staff was more than happy to accommodate anything we needed and was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Everything about this place just makes you feel at home.

And then you get to the food—and dang, it’s good. Just really solid homestyle cooking that’s plated and presented well. The portion sizes are generous for what you’re paying too, so you definitely feel like you’re getting your money’s worth.

They start you off with a complimentary vegetable soup, which was SO good, and I’m someone who would normally never spring for vegetable soup. I will say that some of the sides were lacking just slightly in flavor, but genuinely, a smidge of salt from the table got them right. The textures were more than acceptable too. For example, the mac and cheese was very cheesy, while the noodles were cooked well and still al dente.

And don’t even get me started on the rolls. They’re like a combination between bread and a biscuit, and I could come back just to eat a dozen of those.

I ordered the meatloaf, and the sauce was literally perfect. The texture and the ratio of everything in the meatloaf were truly an experience, especially considering meatloaf is my favorite dish. They absolutely did it justice.

Between the atmosphere, the hospitality, the view, the value, and the homestyle food, this place is definitely a must-try and absolutely worth the visit.“

“I recommend the waitress Monica Barrera at the IHOP in Panorama City Calif as she gives such great and wonderful service. She asks if everything is ok and always comes back to give refills. This is much appreciated. Best wishes from the original Johnny Blaze, and "may the Blaze be with you."“

“This Waffle House was the best one I have ever been to. Food was perfect and service was wonderful. We ate there two times during our stay in Pigeon Forge. It was extremely busy both times but we were in and out in about 30 minutes. And the staff were genuinely friendly and happy despite the busyness. Tristan was our waitress both times and she was great!“

“I recently ate at one of the most interesting and entertaining places I’ve come across! They have animatronic chickens parodying all kinds of popular culture, with plenty of references that are especially fitting for the area of Tennessee where it’s located.

The food was solid, and for a tourist town, I thought the prices were actually pretty reasonable. The service was good as well.

But honestly, the atmosphere is what makes this place stand out. The animatronics and comedy will keep you entertained throughout your visit and definitely make it a place worth coming back to. If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend checking it out!“
