The pizza is exactly what you want after a long hike at the Smokey Mountains or shopping in downtown. The Caeser salad and chicken Alfredo was also great food options we ordered along with the pizza. Sodas were a bit pricey but the local beer was a great bargain for a restaurant at $4 a bottle.

The dining area is quaint and the fireplace adds to the relaxing environment. There is also outdoor seating if it suits. No outside heaters were seen.

Our server Angela was a gem. Friendly smile and always attentive to any requests we had.

Parking: Parking is super difficult to find. If you are staying in the area it is worth a walk if nearby.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu if not ordering pizza.“

“We got this on our way to our cabin in Gatlinburg and it was DELICIOUS. we got a pepperoni pizza, garlic bread sticks and the buffalo garlic wings. Everything was hot and fresh. The last working the counter was so sweet. You gotta try the garlic dipping sauce too, it was so good!“

We recently tried the Margherita Large pizza at Mountain Trail Pizza, located under the Glenstone Lounge Hotel. It was the second-best out of the three pizzas we've tried here during our past visits. The crust was nicely crispy with a chewy center, and the fresh basil and tomatoes really stood out, giving it that classic Margherita flavor.

The cozy atmosphere and friendly service add to the overall experience, making it a pleasant spot to unwind after a long day. While it's not our top favorite, it's still a solid choice, and we look forward to trying more from their menu. If you're staying at the Glenstone Lounge or just exploring nearby, Mountain Trail Pizza is definitely worth a stop!“

“We order delivery and had Blake bring it to our hotel. He was great. I sent him to the wrong address and he was so gracious in finding me to give it to me. He had a great smile and laughter. Thank you for being so kind and giving great customer service. Pizza was ordered and delivered in 35 minutes. Fastest pizza yet“

“We were in the mall and could smell the pizza from one of the higher levels. I ordered a small, 10-inch cheese pizza to share with my partner. In all honesty, we should have gotten some slices, because it would have been around the same price, and I think the slices would have technically been bigger. We placed our order and I paid with a card, which incurred a 4% credit card surcharge. We waited about ten minutes for our pizza. When it came out, it was piping hot and tasted really good! I almost wish I had gotten a larger size. The flavor was great and the crust was perfectly crispy and thin. The only potential "red flag" I noticed was that when we visited, two children were working. The person who took our order was a child, then I noticed another one in the kitchen. I understand this is a family business, and the children were super respectful, but it was something unique about this pizza place that I had not noticed in other places I have been to. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here and would recommend stopping in.“

“The NY style crust extreme pepperoni was pretty dang good. Nice and thin but still a good crunch and not too floppy. Made to order so we had to wait but it was worth it. I ate 2 pieces and was stuffed. I highly recommend. Very little seating though so plan ahead.“
