“My wife and I were in Maryville today, we were looking for Italian food. I did a Google search and Joe's Italian came up in the search, my wife and I found the restaurant. We were immediately seated, our server Scott answered our menu questions. The wife and I shared a salad which was fresh with Italian dressing, plus Catalina on the side. My wife did the angel hair pasta while I did the lasagna. The portions are good sized for both entrees. The marinara sauce on the angel hair was delicious as was the lasagna. Great prices with the portions and a nice selection of wines for Italian dining. The ambience was dark, like an Italian place should be at the dinner hour We met Joe who was gracious and glad to meet us We're looking forward to our next visit with plans to try the pizza. The wife and I prefer "mom and pop" restaurants as opposed to the chains. We're glad the Google search led us to Joe's Italian.“
“I may be biased towards Mr. Ghatti's, at least this location, having come here frequently since the mid 90s when it was a lot smaller (and our town was a lot smaller and less crowded), but I literally cannot think of a negative experience ever at all. We've had concerns on some visits throughout the years but they were remedied during that visit. I'm 35 and to be able to bring my kids to enjoy Mr. Ghatti's as I have growing up is a true blessing that I'm extremely grateful for. We'll see new younger employees from time to time (definitely look like high school kids) but they do a good job as they try to and the older employees (one of which is a brown haired, shorter gentleman compared to me being 6' 2" which I have seen working there for a long time) always lead excellently. I recognize him every time we go for the last several years and I would be happy to point him out and brag about him to upper management. I've had professional leadership training and these guys are it. They give orders when needed in a firm but positive way but at the same time they are working and sweating more than anyone, leading from the front by example. The last time we were there Saturday, March 23rd, it looks like some new stuff was added to the game room. It's nice to see them keep up with that. I don't know if anyone can ever replace the Mr. Ghatti's that was in Sevierville with its huge arcade several years ago where Quaker Steak & Lube is now but this is definitely close. Because me, my wife and now our kids have been there so many times for close to 30 years (or more), it just feels like home when we come in to eat. This native Blount County guy looks forward to carrying on the tradition and planning birthday parties there for my future grandchildren.Vegetarian options: Salad bar, vegetarian pizzas and desserts.Parking: Parking at front.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp at front entrance.“
“My new go to spot! This might have been the best calzone I've ever had. The sauce was phenomenal and the dough was downright drool-worthy. Margarita was so good I almost had 2! Will definitely be back often...can't wait to use the 2nd floor game room for football season! Whole separate bar, tons of TVs and pool tables!“
“A true highlight of downtown Maryville. Sadie, Courtney, Kim and Mariam never fail to make my day. I love this place. The menu is amazing. They have the best wings in the area. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You’ll be glad you did.“
“Papa Murphys is the BOMB!!! In a landscape full of mid grade pizza that gets delivered in questionable conditions, Papa Murphys let's you take the pizza and cook it at home for PEAK freshness! ??Nah but seriously if you want some BANGIN pizza that you can customize like it's a subway sandwich then hit up Papa Murphys!“
“Our first visit to Jaboni’s Maryville pizza and both food and service were outstanding! The restaurant was crowded on Saturday, and easy to see why. We had Grandma’s pan pizza with 5 toppings - be sure to include extra cheese- and it may have be the best pizza in Knoxville. From the next table, the calamari looked good and we will be back to try it. Great job GM Matt Chapman and team !“
“The worker made the wrong pizza by accident and without even asking gave us the pizza that was made complimentary and remade our correct pizza. Excellent service and the pizza was in the running for the best I've eaten. Highly recommended.“
“So I ordered 8 wings (well done) with a two topping pizza expecting the worst wings ever. Not only were the wings well cooked and well seasoned they are equal to my favorite wing stop. These wings are better than it’s just wings; hooters and anybody else who can thaw and sell wings. Hooters wings are frozen and look blue before they are dropped in the fryer. I was very impressed by the cheap yet very good wings by Papa John’s. They deserve credit for not going skimpy on the wings. Wings and Pizza!“
“The pizza could be more New York/Neapolitan and/or Sourdough (thinner and more indulgent), but Bella Roma has eggplant and they were willing to put it on my pizza as a topping so major props there! They also have an eggplant sub, eggplant parm, and eggplant rollatini which adds to their allure. The bread was very nice and better than expected. They should add the eggplant as a pizza topping on the menu so when ordering online it can be added to the order.“
“Oh my word I don't know where this place has been hiding. The food is amazing everything was fresh! The the chef's choices were spectacular. I would recommend the risotto ball appetizers. The bread is amazing and if you try the desserts you will think that you have died and gone to heaven! Well done Amici!!“
