“Come see the crew at the club. Only the VFW can beat the beer prices, but this place has a full menu and plenty of space. It's an armed service club so be patient for your food and drink. Each of the bartenders are friendly and a good conversation. Food: try the pizzas, and the burgers! Also, the tacos are great.“
“I have been seeing lots of adds on Facebook for this pizzeria. I finally decided to order a pizza to my office for delivery. Normally, I do not like to order pizza for delivery because the time the pizza gets to me, it is soggy and taste like it has been sitting around too long. This pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ordered since moving to Knoxville. I ordered the margherita pizza with extra veggies and it was delicious. My co-workers could not believe how fresh the pizza was and the crust was so light and yummy. I would order from this restaurant again and I cannot wait to go into the restaurant and see what else they offer.“
“Hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST ITALIAN IN KNOXVILLE. I am super picky with who makes my food, however Uncle Sam's has completely set the bar for what food service should be!Glad to have you in Knoxville, this is now my families favorite restaurant!!!“
“Visited this location before dropping off a friend to the airport nearby. They are locals and always go to this pub before hitting the Knoxville airport to depart, they are never disappointed! As first-time visitors, we now understand why. Not everything was pictured because we jumped in, but we had the crispy brussel sprouts and pimento cheese appetizers. If only brussel sprouts could always taste that good!! Highly recommend and the pimento cheese is a sweet, warm touch with little toast pieces to spread across. The cajun pasta with chicken added was creamy, had a nice flavorful kick that was not overwhelming, and was light, not too heavy. Others in my party had great entrees, including the baja tacos, chicken n waffles, and philly cheesesteak flatbread. So, you probably won't go wrong or be disappointed with whatever you order! Our waitress Hana was very attentive. Had a good Moscow Mule from the bar (there is also a Kentucky Mule with bourbon instead) and the espresso martini is reportedly very strong, not quite what my friend wanted before jumping on a plane, but flavor wasn't bad.“
“I had never been to a Blaze pizza before and a friend of mine told me about Pi Day, (03-14) where you get a pizza for $3.14, so I figured why not. And while the wait was extremely long on that day I had to stop and think about what a LONG day it must have been for the employees. That being said I was really impressed by the super friendly greeting I got as I ordered my pizza that day. Rob had a huge smile on his face and asked me how I was doing, my response was "probably better than you, you guys are working so hard!" Haley then joined in on speaking to me and was also happy and friendly while making my pizza, but I learned that both of them had to open and close the restaurant that day. WOW, that is such a long day on a regular day, forget a day like this where their volume is probably tripled. Yet, these two people both were smiling and chatting and treating me so nicely despite the fact that I am sure they were hot, tired, and ready to go home. I also want to mention that they had a guy greeting people at the door that evening and kind of preparing to shift the line and keep the entrance clear, I didn't catch his name but he was also funny and helpful and making conversation and answering questions for the guests. While I am a super picky pizza person and wasn't overly excited by the food, yes it was good, but it wasn't over the top good, I found their customer service to be exceptional! Thanks Rob and Haley and door-man for making my first experience at Blaze a good one. I guess I will have to go back and try some of the other food and give the pizza at least one more try, on a day where they aren't bogged down with a line wrapped around the building :)“
“Being originally from the Chicagoland area I had high hopes going in since it has been 4 years since I had Rosati’s pizza. First the good; it tasted just like I remembered it and had the proper amount of cheese to sauce ratio for both the thin and deep dish I ate. Now the bad; the crust is normally crispier and has larger edges. Also, they skimped on toppings. There was very little pepperoni and sausage on it. Overall it was good, but it does not measure up to the Plainfield, IL location as I remembered it. 7.5 out of 10.“
“Oh my word I don't know where this place has been hiding. The food is amazing everything was fresh! The the chef's choices were spectacular. I would recommend the risotto ball appetizers. The bread is amazing and if you try the desserts you will think that you have died and gone to heaven! Well done Amici!!“
“It was simple. Not in a bad way. Good pizza. My friend ordered gluten-free. She got tummy upset so I'm not sure if it was cross contamination with gluten. Good pizza.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free. Can't say for sure if it's Celiac friendly.“
“We brought our family of eight to Knox Dough for the first time, and had a good experience! The staff was incredibly helpful, patiently explaining the ordering process and even offering samples to the kids (always a win!). While the wait time is a bit longer than your average ice cream shop, the employees were efficient and got everyone's orders out quickly. We entertained ourselves while we waited, with the selection of games they had on hand, The atmosphere was nice and we had a great time. Thanks!“
“For those who think you HAVE to go to a seafood restaurant, if you want to enjoy seafood; allow me to challenge your thinking!I'll go ANYWHERE to find GOOD AHI TUNA! I made a"call- in" to- go order, picked it up from the guy behind the bar, who was super sweet and really a great server, but anyway... went out to the car, drove under some trees and WOW!!First off, the serving size was HUGE!! Very non-typical when it comes to Ahi. What really got me though.... was the taste!!! Hands down, no contest!! This was the best Ahi Tuna I've had, outside of the coast.... no question.I've had ALOT of Ahi and, from the best of the best in Knoxville and, I'm so so happy to say, Tennessee Taphouse: You've made a LIFE-TIME patron of me!!Job Well Done!!If I could give you 10 stars, I'd give you 20!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“We've seen the sign from the interstate and also seen it passing by on Kingston Pike. Today is my wife's birthday and we decided on a late lunch at Jaboni's. The fries pickles were outstanding, the Pizza was absolutely the best we've had anywhere around Knoxville. The first were fresh and crisp and tasted great! I had the Lasagna and met me tell you it was the best authentic lasagna I've had in years. I downed 2 margaritas which were outstanding! The atmosphere was comfortable, trendy and quiet enough to talk with my beautiful wife. The service was excellent and friendly. The prices are on par with any place offering a great value for high quality food. It's a clean and classy place to get your food any time of the day. We highly recommend it and we are not easy to please. You'll dig it!“
“Visiting from San Diego and blown away by the quality of their pizza and garlic knots. You can taste the difference in their quality of cheese and their marinara sauce is noticeably superior. I almost never dip my bread in marinara but the I couldn’t get enough of this savory sauce.“
“It was our first time ever going to one of these restaurants and we decided last minute to get Italian food for our anniversary. The restaurant was closing in an hour and we decided to go anyway. The ambience was lovely, the Italian music was a nice touch, and we were greeted very enthusiastically by our server Beau. He was so friendly and didn’t seem the least bit annoyed to have us show up so late. We both have worked food service and try not to put others in the situation but with young kids we can only get out every once in a while.Beau showed to our seat right as we walked in, got us our drinks right away, and was very helpful in explaining the menu and what the favorites were as well as his personal favorites. We took his recommendation and the Esalata della Casa and the Chicken Bacon Flatbread were both delicious as appetizers. We decided to order the Margarita Pizza and the Fra Diavolo pasta. The pasta is amazing and the pizza unfortunately came out with a hair on it but my wife noticed it right away and not only did they remake it but they took the price of our order.I usually don’t care too much on service as long as it’s polite and the food is good but this time the care was exceptional and the food was amazing. We mentioned that it was our anniversary and Beau got us a dessert for free (we weren’t expecting it so it was even better). Even though they were getting close to closing he was also happy to make us a little extra bread to go since the portions are ginormous and we couldn’t finish it all.Overall I’d give it an 8/10 but if you can get Beau I’d say 10/10 go absolutely.Oh and the dessert we got (also a recommendation from Beau) was the cheesecake and it was delicious!I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.Bravo! is an apt name for this restaurant!“
“We ordered two pizzas that came out quickly, with Arabic bread and hummus as an appetizer. All were very accommodating, helpful, and efficient. The restaurant was very clean and it had a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The pizza was delicious and this is truly a hidden gem in Alcoa!Vegetarian options: Hummus and veggies, salads, and cheese pizza.Kid-friendliness: Easy and kid friendly, especially with speedy food service.“
“My wife and I were in Maryville today, we were looking for Italian food. I did a Google search and Joe's Italian came up in the search, my wife and I found the restaurant. We were immediately seated, our server Scott answered our menu questions. The wife and I shared a salad which was fresh with Italian dressing, plus Catalina on the side. My wife did the angel hair pasta while I did the lasagna. The portions are good sized for both entrees. The marinara sauce on the angel hair was delicious as was the lasagna. Great prices with the portions and a nice selection of wines for Italian dining. The ambience was dark, like an Italian place should be at the dinner hour We met Joe who was gracious and glad to meet us We're looking forward to our next visit with plans to try the pizza. The wife and I prefer "mom and pop" restaurants as opposed to the chains. We're glad the Google search led us to Joe's Italian.“
“My daughter has food allergies, including gluten and dairy. I love that mellow mushroom has options for her as well as the classic pizzas for the rest of us. Service had always been friendly.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust as well as dairy and soy free cheeses are available.I know they have vegan pizzas as well, but we haven't tried those.“
“1st time. Decent food, fast casual, my mom thought it was confusing to see self serve metal forks and plastic knives. The stuffed shrimp shells with cheese was stuffed with ricotta with shrimp in the sauce. The staff was considerate to my mom, substituting in alfredo instead of regular marinara for her entree. She said her dish was too salty, but I thought it was OK since cheese is supposed to have salt in it. I looked for the plate return area. The staff inverted a tray over the trash bin hole at that station with a sign to leave our dishes on the table for them to clean up. For dinner overall, more affordable and quicker than most sit down Italian restaurants. Seating was about 50% full on Monday night. Staffing appears adequate for bigger crowds.“
“Fun decor and hand painted walls.Good service and fast. Not brick oven, but if you really like thin crust pizza, this is the place. The marinara sauce is excellent!Everything tastes fresh, and the basil was a big hit with me. Not my preference on the mozzarella used, but standard for most pizza places.Definitely recommend.“
“Food was great and affordable, has a cozy Italian atmosphere. I believe my servers name was Grant and he did an excellent job and was very funny. A server named Marybeth was also doing a great job but she was not as funny as Grant. Matt is a great pizza chef too. 5/5“
“I may be biased towards Mr. Ghatti's, at least this location, having come here frequently since the mid 90s when it was a lot smaller (and our town was a lot smaller and less crowded), but I literally cannot think of a negative experience ever at all. We've had concerns on some visits throughout the years but they were remedied during that visit. I'm 35 and to be able to bring my kids to enjoy Mr. Ghatti's as I have growing up is a true blessing that I'm extremely grateful for. We'll see new younger employees from time to time (definitely look like high school kids) but they do a good job as they try to and the older employees (one of which is a brown haired, shorter gentleman compared to me being 6' 2" which I have seen working there for a long time) always lead excellently. I recognize him every time we go for the last several years and I would be happy to point him out and brag about him to upper management. I've had professional leadership training and these guys are it. They give orders when needed in a firm but positive way but at the same time they are working and sweating more than anyone, leading from the front by example. The last time we were there Saturday, March 23rd, it looks like some new stuff was added to the game room. It's nice to see them keep up with that. I don't know if anyone can ever replace the Mr. Ghatti's that was in Sevierville with its huge arcade several years ago where Quaker Steak & Lube is now but this is definitely close. Because me, my wife and now our kids have been there so many times for close to 30 years (or more), it just feels like home when we come in to eat. This native Blount County guy looks forward to carrying on the tradition and planning birthday parties there for my future grandchildren.Vegetarian options: Salad bar, vegetarian pizzas and desserts.Parking: Parking at front.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp at front entrance.“
“Our host/hostess/server Shaya really made our first visit memorable. Have been by SPP a million times but never stopped. We wanted pizza and beer this afternoon and randomly picked Sargent Pepper Pizza. The service and food was as good as it gets. Recommend the Buffalo cheese dip as a starter. We’ll recommend SPP to everyone and it’ll be our new pizza destination. Thanks Shaya and crew. See ya soon!“
“My family and I have been here a few times and really love their food . We went last night for my daughters birthday and had a really wonderful dinner and the service was so wonderful I wanted to write a review to express my appreciation. I can not remember our waitresses name! She said she is newer to the establishment- I feel terrible for forgetting but she was very attentive and friendly and helpful but not hovering. Our food came out hot and delicious in good timing and it really added to the enjoyment of our celebration. We’ll definitely return.“
“My new go to spot! This might have been the best calzone I've ever had. The sauce was phenomenal and the dough was downright drool-worthy. Margarita was so good I almost had 2! Will definitely be back often...can't wait to use the 2nd floor game room for football season! Whole separate bar, tons of TVs and pool tables!“
“I wish I'd tried this place sooner! The pizza was delicious with perfectly cooked crust and generous toppings. Our pickup order was ready in no time, and the service inside was fantastic! They were so kind and welcoming. Excellent choice for a bite in West Knox!Parking: Plenty of spots right out front as well as an entire lot for the shopping center in case it gets full.“
“A true highlight of downtown Maryville. Sadie, Courtney, Kim and Mariam never fail to make my day. I love this place. The menu is amazing. They have the best wings in the area. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You’ll be glad you did.“
“This is my FAVORITE pizza in Knoxville. I've been on the hunt for the best in town, and this is it by a landslide. The crust is delicious, they're generous with the toppings, and the balance between chewy and crispy is always right. The owners are so kind and welcoming. The baklava is also amazing. A must-try for sure.“
“Went for breakfast this morning because it looked like a local place with a bunch of great reviews. The drink I had tasted a bit weird but I asked and the rum in it was one I had never had before. The bartender said that she never used it because no one ever asked for that drink. (No one's fault I rolled the dice trying something new)I was torn between trying 3 different menu options and the server estimated how big each dish was. I decided on the "Fernando". A bunch of different flavors and fresh ingredients that looked good and tastes fine but it was half the size I was expecting it to be.Also I drink a lot of water and it took a while to get a refill. When I did get a refill, I had ice an inch out of the glass. When I was offered another refill a minute later I asked for the check.Besides the water situation, my service was good and I enjoyed the people that worked there and the atmosphere they were going for.My experience here wasn't bad compared to some places but it wasn't that great. I will come back next time I am in town and give this place another shot.“
“The manager, Stefan, opened for a Tuesday lunch just for our office staff to enjoy a meal. Most of our staff had never been to Dazzo's and we also have a couple of folks with dietary requirements that he was able to accommodate. The food was prepared fresh upon our arrival. Stefan was a wonderful host, keeping our drinks refilled and taking care of all our food requests. We enjoyed pizza bowls, salads and pizza on this visit. Highly recommend!!!Vegetarian options: Menu gives good detail on this.Dietary restrictions: Menu offers gluten free options. Dairy free selections can also be provided.“
“Papa Murphys is the BOMB!!! In a landscape full of mid grade pizza that gets delivered in questionable conditions, Papa Murphys let's you take the pizza and cook it at home for PEAK freshness! ??Nah but seriously if you want some BANGIN pizza that you can customize like it's a subway sandwich then hit up Papa Murphys!“
“Wow! Lauren has been my waitress a couple of times…. Let me say she is absolutely outstanding! Incredible service, great conversation! She went above and beyond for us and didn’t ever have a negative attitude considering I know my family can be alot and ask for a lot! Recommending everyone I know to come here especially because dogs are welcomed! Everyone ask for Lauren!!!!:) you will not be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: Great experience for my little siblings!“
“Really good pizza. Only reason for the 4 stars is price. Close to $60 for 3 small pizzas (10 to 12 inch) is a tough pill to swallow but I seem to do it more often than id like to admit. Great marghariti pizza. Really good calzones. Eat at Hard Knox, just don't look at the bill.“
“Just awesome pizza. I worked down the road, the last 4 days and ate the pepperoni mini pizza, 3 out of the 4 days. Just amazing. Great service, too. I rated the atmosphere a 3, because it is in a gas station, but they do have a nice set-up if you do decide to eat “
“Their pizza are this or hand tossed the sauce is very tasty with a hint of sweetness I have tried different places and most of them give heartburn this is one that does not and that's a big plus the crust is just right even the next day.the pizzas were ready when they said it would so it makes it no time loss in“
“I would give this 4.5 stars, we went on Pi Day where you can get an 11" pizza per person one day a year for $3.14 (Pi). No online membership was required. There was a line around the building, as you know people love discounted/free sh$t. I didn't want to wait in line, but my mother convinced me as we were with other family. The woman setting up the orders was very patient. We were reading the options on cell in the line, but I'm sure there are people who get to the front and say"uh what do you have here??" For the eight of us, our food came out correctly and tasted very good. You can taste the wood oven even though these are thin dough pizzas. None of the staff seemed snippy about having to work from dusk till dawn. I would be interested in going back on a less busy dayDietary restrictions: Vegan options on the dough and whatever ingredients you want on it“
“1st time here and shocked me Mike the owner is a really cool guy great guest he had come in. The crowd there was huge never seen this bar before its sits in back off kp behind taco bell check it out you won't be disappointed also they have wings burgers pizza and was great. Look forward to go back“
“Coming from CA.... Good pizza was hard to find until we came here. I'm so glad we made the drive to have dinner. The pizza and garlic balls were soooo good. The spaghetti not so much but the pizza fantastic. The pizza sauce was savory and topped with fresh ingredients. Fantatsic food“
“Went for national Pie Day (3-14) and was amazed at how organized it was. There was a wait because of the deal they had going on but the weather was nice so we didn’t mind waiting in line. While in line the manager was walking around talking to guests and was very helpful with any questions or concerns people had. We decided to dine in and the dining area was a good size and quite clean. Overall we had a great experience and definitely will be back.“
“Don’t pass up on this absolute Knoxville institution. From the crazy amount of band and brewery insignia to the book cases of vinyl, it takes a minute to fully appreciate the fantastic decor. They have struck a chord with amazing food and drink selection. Kudos to the management and staff.Make this your next stop to grab some food, a drink, and a band!“
“Our first visit to Jaboni’s Maryville pizza and both food and service were outstanding! The restaurant was crowded on Saturday, and easy to see why. We had Grandma’s pan pizza with 5 toppings - be sure to include extra cheese- and it may have be the best pizza in Knoxville. From the next table, the calamari looked good and we will be back to try it. Great job GM Matt Chapman and team !“
“Here in Knoxville at Mellow Mushroom at 4:30 pm. on Jan 9, 2024, hostess was so pleasant and the waitress, Annabeth, was the best we have ever had. Questions and customizations were handled perfectly. She is a keeper!! You are lucky to have her. Of course, food was prepared and cooked perfectly.Vegetarian options: I am also on keto and eat only 2 slices due to carbs, but am always full with the house salad.Dietary restrictions: I'm a vegetarian. House salad is delicious.Parking: Wasn't busy today. Plenty of parking.“
“Pizza is good, but pretty expensive compared to other pizza places. Building is super dark inside and outside. Looks closed when you pull up because there's hardly any lighting from where you can see in the parking lot. Inside is very dark too, like a bar if that's what you're looking for. Not good or bad, just whatever your preference is.“
“Always get what you ask for and it never takes long to get ur food to the table. And everyone that works there is friendly and if for any reason you have to send ur food back when they bring it back out the Manger working that shift will come out and talk with you to make sure ur satisfied. I would recommend this place to anyone...“
“We came in an hour before the St Patrick’s day parade was set to begin. It was busy, but the two ladies working were wonderful. The lady working the oven was a beast. She was putting orders out left and right! If there was a slow moment, the other girl jumped right in to help. The food was a great deal and very tasty. We got two 2 pieces and a pizza roll. We will definitely come back. Great value and great service.“
“This Jets is always awesome! The jet 10 is one of the best pizzas all around at the best price! Thank you to the owners including their Pizza Perfect Pizza magic making amazing son & crew! everyone in our family absolutely loves the ranch. From this location it has never came to us any other way than perfect and it's always fresh! Thank you for that as well.Vegetarian options: They have fresh salads anything that that is partial vegan like vegetable pizzas and maybe sandwiches!Parking: This location is in a strip mall that is accessible and easy to maneuver with a traffic light on a busy busy main road it also makes it easier that there is slower businesses closer to the busy businesses it seems to be strategically placed in such a Manor can you wear the traffic flows naturally at the most busy times.“
“I I love it here it's so good they have really good food but it's really sad they took out the animatronics they said that a kid pulled Helen's microphone out of her hand and that's why they had to do 2.0 but overall that it's super good I remember when it was there it had a lot of old stuff it was like from the 70s and it's from the Pizza Time theater era I love it five stars I can't tell how good this is five stars a plus whatever you want to call it thank you for listening bye!Kid-friendliness: Actually super good they are nice kind I was surprised but that is a really good place“
“The worker made the wrong pizza by accident and without even asking gave us the pizza that was made complimentary and remade our correct pizza. Excellent service and the pizza was in the running for the best I've eaten. Highly recommended.“
“So the prices are good, food great. However, i was there last night and just hangin out, having some fireballs, talking to fellow patrons, being civilized, all that good stuff. All of a sudden, and i do mean all of a sudden, the bartender comes up to me andgives me my tab and says he closed it out, i figured there was a shift change or something, but as im writing the tip into the bill, he says "now we are gonna have to ask you to leave, you were ashing ur cigerattes everywhere. So, i left. Here the thing, when im comfortable and just talking and conversating and have a cigeratte going, my body and arms move however they move. Its just natural body movement, 2nd nature ya know. I wasnt even aware i was "ashing everywhere", im just going about my night, not acting a fool or anything. I feel like this was a major communication error. See, in the aet of human interaction, if someone is doing something you dont like, you let them know, ask them to knock it off. Had i been told this was happening, i would have stopped and been more careful. So, from that experience, i would say that it appears that its rather alarming that their first instinct to any trivial situation is to just immediately throw you out...Now they sodnt notice this, but it took everything in me to not cause a scene and give them a legit reason to throw me out. My whole life, my bigfest pet peeve is people freaking out over the smallest, most trivial and innocous things. That very proccess ironically causes me to wanna freak out. So, this is not really a reciew of the establishment as a whole, but a review about the specific baetender that is probably deeply mentally ill to the point where he just randomly.throws people out. Try letting people know that you wre annoyed by something, and addressing how to fix it before just being completely reactionary.“
“well, after reading the reviews, there was a very harsh pizza critic, (older post) and 2 extremely positive reviews (new posts) and as a pizza connoisseur myself, I knew I was leaning towards the majority although I think very differently than most and usually root for the underdog, but in this case, the underdog would be the pizza joint... especially found it humorous he had pushed buttons on the lines of "if it saves one person from trying the pizza then it's (his opinion, time) is worth it...well, for me this had the opposite effect, I accept the challenge of not being saved, thanks but from what sounds to me amateur taste, I'm not scared and again thanks for sharing, maybe focus on saving people like friends and fam, who may or may not know or trust you more than a stranger danger proponent...i cant wait to give it a try myself and Dare to think for myself, knowing we all enjoy different things“
“Always on point and super nice people... haven't had a bad experience! Plus on Christmas Eve we needed something to eat considering our stove n oven were covered up w food n treats for Christmas dinner tomorrow and topside store was there for us!! Thanks!“
