Stephanie‘s presentation of each of the varieties of wines produced by smoky mountain winery was excellent. She knows the wines well. She was also a pleasure to talk with, and offered great historical information about the wines and the area. Also, we asked her opinion of a local off – the – beaten Path restaurant, and she suggested split rail eats, which was a delight!A special treat was in meeting”Pops”, The winery owners, father. What a great man!
We made up our own "wine trail" which consisted of stopping in seven wineries for their taste-testing while in Gatlinburg. This was our first stop and by far the best one. Our hostess was friendly and knowledgeable, very chatty. The wines we sampled were excellent too. Bought three bottles.All the other wineries in town were disappointing with the people who worked and served .
