“I personally highly recommend People's Choice Restaurant in Newport because I personally love pure country cooking and this is at its finest here Plus this is where I take my wife for our date nights and mornings and just for the love of the food LOL but I highly recommend it to anybody and everybody. thank you for your time for reading this and have a Blessed Day Everyone“

“Debbie's Drive-In is a fun place. Kind of a blast from the past where you drive up and they come out to your car for service. We stopped for ice cream on a long road trip then it was a pleasant experience. Grass near the parking lot allowed us to walk the dog while waiting for the ice cream. The burgers and fries side of the menu looked good if we were there for lunch but we weren't. Friendly staff got five stars!“

“We always enjoy China 1. It’s our go to here in Newport. Always friendly, clean and delicious! I enjoy the spicy tuna roll, crab ragoons, egg drop soup, veggie lo-mein. My husband often gets a chicken dish.
I only wish they served saki and beer as well!“

“Had dinner with my friend Cookie who recommended this place when asked. Reservation was made (good idea). We ate on the porch as it was a lovely evening. We were the first there but the place filled up very quickly. The food was good and generous and reasonably priced. Met the lady who started this place when she came over to our table to greet us. Lovely evening, good food and great company. Neat little place.“

“I just want to say thank you, these girls here are the best. my road is pretty bad and my truck broke down they were willing to go above and beyond to make sure we got our food , Makayla is absolutely amazing as is Savannah. they always make sure my picky order comes out perfect and fixes any mistakes that may be made. our little town appreciates y'alls amazing customer service!“

“Me and my husband are locals and have lived here 19 yrs. Decided to finally go try this place and OMG its our new favorite place. We went with russian cuisines and was not disappointed. We got appetizers the pig in blankets and the deep fried russian pirochke stuffed with potatoes and onions, for our meals I got the scallop potato pie it came with toast and coleslaw slaw all of it was amazing, the fresh dill they garnished it with was such a wonderful touch. My husband got the Borsch Russian soup which came with deep fried russian pirochke with cabbage in them and it was also absolutely amazing. Im super southern and love my sweet tea and was so surprised when we got our tea and took a drink it was organic green tea with a light flower taste and paired amazingly with each dish. We are addicted. So if your ever in the smoky mountains looking for something unique this is the place. There isnt alot of parking and the wife and husband do it all cook clean wait tables so not for anyone in a rush.. but a amazing meal should never be rushed and thats what it is . Absolutely amazing“
