“Me and my husband are locals and have lived here 19 yrs. Decided to finally go try this place and OMG its our new favorite place. We went with russian cuisines and was not disappointed. We got appetizers the pig in blankets and the deep fried russian pirochke stuffed with potatoes and onions, for our meals I got the scallop potato pie it came with toast and coleslaw slaw all of it was amazing, the fresh dill they garnished it with was such a wonderful touch. My husband got the Borsch Russian soup which came with deep fried russian pirochke with cabbage in them and it was also absolutely amazing. Im super southern and love my sweet tea and was so surprised when we got our tea and took a drink it was organic green tea with a light flower taste and paired amazingly with each dish. We are addicted. So if your ever in the smoky mountains looking for something unique this is the place. There isnt alot of parking and the wife and husband do it all cook clean wait tables so not for anyone in a rush.. but a amazing meal should never be rushed and thats what it is . Absolutely amazing”

“I wish they had not have changed the way the subs were, since new ownership they changed the onions on the subs they just don't taste as awesome as they use to. The onions before where a lot sweeter and seem to have. A more pepper taste. Still a great place but I do wish they would go back to the way they use to make them.”

“Ordered two large three toppings pies with garlic knots. Immediately got a call that they were out of large crusts and the guy offered to make three medium to make up for the larges. He could have just made two medium three toppings and I wouldn’t have known the difference. The garlic knots were so good, too!”

“Portofino Italian Restaurant delivered one of the most authentic Italian dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting — classic Italian ambiance without feeling overdone. The food was outstanding. The pasta was perfectly cooked (true al dente), the sauces were rich and well-balanced, and everything tasted fresh — not overly salted or heavy like many places. You can tell attention is paid to ingredients and preparation. The pizza had a beautifully crisp crust with just the right chew, and the portions were generous without sacrificing quality. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Staff checked in at the right times and were knowledgeable about the menu. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a genuine Italian kitchen rather than a chain restaurant experience, Portofino is absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back.”

“What a wonderful bar! 6 stars!
My husband and I are truck drivers, so we rarely get a chance to find hidden gems like this. The bar is walking distance from a few truck stops that surround it. It's just a short walk and you arrive at a green oasis - in the back of the bar there was a bon fire going, chairs and benches around it. Beautiful nature, very well maintained. My husband and I ended up sitting by the fire with the locals, chatting, drinking beers, and feeling like we are in a group of old friends with our small, well behaved pup having the time of his life. Everyone was so friendly - the owner Audrey, bartender Brenda, and all of their friends. We ordered two cheeseburgers with fresh cut fries before leaving, and boy o boy, they were delicious! Prices are more than reasonable - dare I say cheap.
We will most definitely be back at the next possible occasion. Thank you for a lovely evening, guys! You made us feel right at home!”

“If I could I would give this place a 10+! The place is so pretty on the inside and very clean. The waitress was exceptional. We didn't have to ask for anything, refills extra napkins etc. We ordered the blackened chicken alfredo with a chef salad and the rib-eye sandwich with sweetpotato fries. The bedt food we have had ever in Newport and we plan on going back again real soon. Please check this place out....you will not ne sorry!!! Thank y'all for such an amazing meal for our anniversary. It was well worth the money and then some. The chef is really on point!!!!”

“We’re from Sevierville, and have honestly stopped going to little Caesar’s because of how terrible of service we’ve gotten at ours, but we stopped at the Newport location today and had the best by far service & experience at a little Caesar’s that we’ve had in a very long time! The food was hot AND ready which was a nice surprise since normally when we go we have to wait, I just wanted to say we loved it. Thank you for running such a good store !”

“First time here. Tanner was very patient and helpful during the whole transaction.
I was asking about the salad and wanted to make sure my salad didn't have the bread on the salad, since I have an allergy to Gluten. He made sure to also take off the fried onions so I was safe and also went straight back to his manager and cooks before completing the order, so everyone knew about the allergy.
He bagged our food separately as well.

“This is absolutely one of my most favorite places to go eat at in Newport, it's by far the cleanest facility out of the many fast food choices we have in town! The facility there couldn't get any better, they are always very nice, patient & they're constantly working hard to provide me and my family with the best service! The manager there makes sure that the employees keep the condiments stocked, the store is always emaculently clean & I can honestly say that the customer service there is incredible, if u receive ur order incorrectly all u have to do is make the Manager/shift leader aware of the issue and it's fixed immediately without any hesitation! Everyone there serves you with a smile and it's also a very welcoming environment, me and my family could sit in there for hours just chatting or simply just scrolling through our phones & always feel at home honestly, the food is always fresh and steaming when you receive it, the sweet tea is my most favorite out of any place that we are able to go grab a gallon from, I honestly could go on and on but I'm sure what I'm trying to say is pretty clear, it's a great place with great customer service, fresh food, cleanliness & hospitality, it's for sure worth getting the family out of the house for! 💚💯”

“this happened at the hardees in mcminnville tn I came in to get something like I always do and instead of sitting in peace a man rudely asked me "what my plan is" I come everyday and order food and use the wifi for a while I am paying customer not a tyrant you dont treat a customer like that especially when I never cause issues and bother noone do better edit: ignore the i recommend them above they changed it”
