“We ordered gelato cups and sandwiches for our wedding and they were amazing. My wife and I both love gelato. We have had really good gelato and really bad gelato from Europe and the States. We were both a little skeptical at first, but Shawn reassured us that their gelato was something special and they real came through. We would highly recommend going with Gelato Brothers. Everyone is going to love it. Especially their gelato sandwiches.”
“Good comfort food for the price and very friendly staff! The place is very clean and simple in its layout. You would be hard pressed to find anyplace better in that area! Love it!”
“This new pizza cottage is a little bigger than the previous location but is often busy. The pizza is always delicious but can seem pricey. Remember it is not a chain pizza joint, support local!!!!”
“SO GOOD! I had pork and my boyfriend had the brisket and both were amazing! We also tried the banana pudding! It was our first time there and we were greeted by such kind, friendly people who explained everything to us. Great experience!”
“My girlfriend and her parents wanted to eat here. We arrived at 2pm not knowing they closed an hour later! Even so, it was a delightful lunch. The food theme here is Irish/Scottish dishes but you wouldn't know it from the atmosphere ?... They would really do well to hire an interior decorator because it looks very disorganized in there- though the lounge seating in the back did look comfy!Regarding the food, it was honestly some of the best I've had in Tennessee. All three of us walked away pleasantly stuffed and shocked at the quality of the food. I had the "Bangers & Mash". Outside of my sausage looking a little too happy to see me- the meat, gravy, sauteed onions, and potatoes were delicious. Even my side of macaroni and cheese was made at the perfect consistency- with a broiled layer of cheese to boot!I highly recommend eating here as the food is a 10/10. My only complaints are the interior and the the hard cutoff at 3pm- though apparently they open later for dinner on Thursdays and Fridays.Parking: I'd say there's about 30-40 spots out front with plenty more available the further out you wish to walk.Wheelchair accessibility: I believe there was a small incline from the sidewalk. Worst case, you may need someone to assist you with hopping the curb.”
“LOVE this place. Really the best place in town for asian food. Consistent Great food, service, environment ALWAYS. Never have I gotten bad food here. Worth every penny ... not a bad value at all. Portions are great. I get sushi to share with my teenagers and a meal when we go and I always take home leftovers. My favorites are the Lo Mein... I pay the $2 extra to have it instead of rice. I usually get Hibachi or Garlic chicken or beef. Other family favs: egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, the Happy Boxes (like Bento Box: entree, rice, 2 crab Rangoon, California roll and egg roll)”
“The only negative I have is I can’t give more than 5 stars. From start to finish this was a great time. We were waiting and Rex at the bar served us some beers to wait. I gave him a hard time and he rolled with it and the other two female bartenders joined in. Nicki the waitress was great in talking to us about the menu and what we wanted. I have two daughters and the friends we were with had two kids of their own. Someone gave them a hard time being silly playing with some provided games. Turns out he was the owner and he was extremely welcoming of them being there and playing the games. From start to finish an A+ experience. We had to wait around 20 to 30 min. Not sure of the time because we had a beer while the kids played and it wasn’t an inconvenience. As a father who takes his kids everywhere and worries about if they are being a bother, this isn’t the place. They were amazing from start to finish. Thank you MadOx for being an awesome venue with an awesome staff. Except for Rex, he is a nerd, just joking!Kid-friendliness: Above and beyond friendly with our kids.”
“My dad and I gave this place a try as soon as they opened after the sinkhole incident. We tried several different desserts from the case and not impressed. I'm not saying it was all bad it just wasn't... good. The chocolate powder they use isn't what we would call chocolate ? but closer to sawdust ?. Canolies are very good. We've had a Gabes burger couple times and its best when the fried egg can be popped to spread all over the burger. So far ours has been over cooked. I'll buy the burgers but I'll make the eggs myself. We've tried quiet a lot from here. A little bit pricier but it evens out with their tamales (pork). OMG momma can make those tamales !! $2 or $2.50 per tamale...Soooo worth it. They only make them on certain days and they like to keep you guessing on which days they will make them so you HAVE to order EARLY....like opening time ? to make sure you get the amount you want and the meat you want. Gabe is the only person I've dealt with and he's just a cute little button with a smile for his customers and if there's an issue he will fix it fast. Ice cream is delicious and he will make whatever you want. All in all it's a good food type of place. 2 or 3 tables in the front to sit and wait on food but while it's winter it's too much draft to sit and eat since the door is RIGHT THERE and people are coming and going so that cold is too much. Like I said...the food is good and the baked desserts with the powder I think is more an issue of what we are used to for chocolate vs what they are used to for chocolate so nothing against the owners or staff. It's just what you are used to. So stop by and order from the menu and try them yourselves and you'll find something you will like and something you will love...just leave the pork tamales for me and my dad ?.”
“Monday mornings can be THE WORST. Coffee always makes a Monday (or any day) better.I stopped to pick up an order for delivery at Snowbird mountain coffee co this morning. I have been in there so very many times picking up coffee and foodstuffs for others and today - today I got my own coffee. I spent from my gas money to buy myself some much needed Monday caffeine.I carried my prize and my customer's order out, put mine on top of the car while I opened the door to put my customer's order in the back seat. Y'all... My coffee slid off the top of my car and onto the cold, hard asphalt. I finished putting my customer's order safely in its place, picked up the remnants of the lost coffee goodness from the ground and put it in the trash bag in the car with tears streaming down my face. (Yes, I cried over a spilled coffee, and am not ashamed to admit it ?)The nice lady who made said coffee appeared like a kind-hearted angel at the passenger window, asked if I had dropped mine and all I could do is look at her and nod. She said she would make me another. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for that small act of kindness! I thanked her profusely, dried my tears and carried my new coffee cupped in BOTH hands safely to the car.So, if y'all are ever in Morristown and want to have some coffee, stop in and see the amazing humans at Snowbird Mountain Coffee Co - Morristown and say hi. I promise, you will not be disappointed.”
“I've been to the cafe for lunch a few times, but this was my first time for brunch. I had the chicken and waffle. The waffle was made with bacon, cheddar, and jalapenos. The chicken was so crispy. The combination was perfect. I would definitely order this again. I also had a razzle dazzle latte that was excellent.”
“Food was good waitresses are very nice but it is so loud in there everybody screams at each other including two of the waitress we were talking so loud you could hear everybody's ”
“Best deviled eggs EVER!!! Wait staff very friendly. Clean. Southern menu. The Alex sandwich (blt with fried green tomato wad delicious). Black & blue burger was also fabulous. The fried okra was disappointing - thereby missing the 5th star. Definitely worth trying and returning!!”
“Food was decent. Restaurant was clean. Decorated nicely. Old Dairy Queen turned into Asian restaurant. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and menuWheelchair accessibility: Easy access”
“The food is always great. Very good iced tea. My favorite is the chili burger with some frenchie fries but everything I've had is good.I only wish they had more parking spots to stop and eat.”
“Absolutely loved my bionico. I’ve followed this place on social media for over a year. I was so excited when work brought me in to town. The food and atmosphere are off the charts. The service was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Thank you. I’ll be back soon!”
“They have expanded! I love that you can go in now. Literally best ice cream Ive ever had. Carmel sundae is amazing. Super nice employees. Milk is amazing. It's pricey, but I will gladly pay for good quality and service.”
“We visited the Shoneys (Store # 21) on March 17th, 2024 at 1pm. Our server was Brittany, and she did such an amazing job. We had been driving all day and we had twice been unable to eat at other places. We were tired and hungry, and Brittany really did great. We loved that she was friendly, proactive, and she was concerned if we were having a good experience. There are few servers like her in the world now, and she represented the best for this company. We don't live in the south, or the few northern places Shoney's is, so we have never been to a Shoney's before. Aside from Brittany's really outstanding service, the food was amazing from start to finish. Even my 4 year old loved everything. Truly a great experience, and Brittany should be recognized as a great reflection of her location, and the location's management.”
“I couldn't recommend a better Bakery in the area. The staff might not be the friendliest to some people, but the pastries are absolutely top tier. ? would recommend stopping here for breakfast.”
“Outstanding place!!!! My first time here, and it was amazing. Great people who own it and a great atmosphere and most of all.... Phenomenal food!!! I will most definitely be back. Thank you and much love and blessings.. Brenda ”
“We ordered take out to tonight. This was our first experience with Cook's boathouse! We all just ordered a burger and we were all amazed at how delicious the burgers were!!! The price was no more expensive than going through for fast food. However the burgers were huge and juicy. I will definately be going back to try other stuff!!!”
“I’ve eaten here many times and the food is always good. They are very helpful and will make accommodations for allergies. However, they have recently changed the menu and their fryer is no longer gluten free and therefore the french fries, pub fries, and chips are no longer safe. The staff is knowledgeable, but it’s sad they’ve reduced what’s offered for those of us with a gluten allergy. Even when ordering a sandwich, the side options are limited now.”
“Our server Jessica recommended a couple of items off of the menu for my wife and she nailed them. My wife was very happy with her choices. My burger was cooked as I ordered and was pulled with perfectly cooked bacon. An excellent lunch. We will definitely be ”
“We got a burrito and tacos al pastor. Wasn't great compared to other places but it wasn't bad. Think it's a little pricey for what you get compared to other places we've gotten tacos from.”
“Very, very salty. The food is good, sloppy burgers, good fries, but too much seasoning.I never tried to ask for light seasoning because I figured this is just how they come (we tried it 3 times). My parents had the hot dogs (which are chili dogs), but they said the chili wasn't real chili, more like the cornmeal textured stuff, and it was a bit dry. I guess it just depends on what you're looking for.Super fast service and not too expensive.”
“Best BBQ in Jefferson city hands down. Plus it's the only legit BBQ in Jeff City unless you want to drive about 20 minutes towards Morristown to Buddy's BBQ. It might not be an actual sit-down restaurant, but the food is delicious and reasonably priced based off other restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the mood for some great BBQ .Parking: Its on the corner right across from McDonald's connected on to the building with cricket, just right past the Domino's. There parking lot is also shared with 2 or 3 other businesses making parking annoying at times smh. A huge tip would be to call in your food ahead of time because there can tend to be a wait, depending on the time of day. The more ya know ...”
“Amazing Sushi. Especially considering minimal options in this general area. Only issue is small dining area and loud patrons due to small setting. Take it to go and be much more satisfied with overall experience.”
“Jamie and his staff were absolutely wonderful in planning our aunt’s birthday celebration. The food was wonderful and he made the planning extremely easy. Highly recommend!”
“Love the Down Home. Good food, just like Mama used to cook for us kids. And you want to talk about desserts--you would swear that they came right out of your grandmother's kitchen. Try the banana split, but you better have a friend or two to help you eat it. Do you like catfish? Or even if you don't, you will like the catfish that you get here. I sometimes dream about their cakes and pies, especially their butterscotch pie. And the sweetest wait staff in Tennessee.”
“Didn't even know about this cute little ice cream shop until I was googling ice cream shops. The ice cream was amazing and so was the service! The caramel Cheesecake cookie monster was absolutely delicious! They had plenty of flavors to choose from at only $2 per scoop! Go check them out, you won't be disappointed!”
