The Smoky Q catered a 90th birthday party today. Not only was the food delicious, but the service and the people providing the service were excellent. They provided exactly what they said plus some extras.( spicy sauce) They were on time. They made sure everything was set up before they left. They returned to pick up their stuff on time. The Smokey Q is a counter service barbecue place that is not fancy but serves great food. The brisket, chicken, pulled pork, and smoked turkey sandwiches are delicious. The brisket sandwich with white sauce is amazing. The corn pudding and banana pudding are a must. The green beans are the best ever. The service is personal, friendly, and helpful. The staff and owners are very welcoming and accommodating. The tea is sweet. This is the best bbq in a very long time, perfect for travelers stopping by with outdoor seating available.
