““On April 9th, my husband and I pulled into the Sonic drive-thru as the same two people we had always been. We left changed. Altered. Forever marked by grease, chili, and glory. He ordered the Double Bacon SuperSONIC cheeseburger and fries. I, in a moment of divine clarity, chose the regular Sonic cheeseburger, chili cheese tater tots, and a sweet tea. What happened next was not dinner. It was a full-blown spiritual event.
His burger stood tall and proud like it had been sent here on official business. The fries vanished so fast they should honestly be investigated. My burger was doing exactly what needed to be done, but those chili cheese tater tots? Those tots kicked the door open, slapped me across the face, and told me to feel something. They were messy, reckless, and absolutely out of line in the best possible feral way. I would trust them with my social security number.
And that sweet tea? Y'all That wasn’t a drink. That was a Southern baptism. It was liquid encouragement. It was the kind of tea that makes you forgive your enemies, unblock your ex, heal your bloodlines and briefly believe your life is finally turning around......We sat there afterward in complete silence, not because we had nothing to say, but because some experiences are simply too profound for words.” Thank you Sonic and I don't know what y'all be doing in that kitchen but keep on keeping on.“

So much so, that we had ordered, observed, etc. and I specifically went out of my way to find out a name. When the wonderful young gentleman called out another members food in our group, I said, look at his name tag, get me a name! Nathan!!! He was exceptional from start to finish.
