“TikTok fully influenced me and it was 100% worth it. English Mountain Trout is such a fun little Smoky Mountain/Sevierville stop like lowkey touristy in the cutest way. It’s cash only (but they have an ATM on site), tons of seating, and super family-friendly. Parking is a little tight, so we parked down the road on the grass and it was totally fine. The best part: it’s perfect for kids who want to go fishing, but you don’t want to commit to an all-day lake situation where everyone gets bored after 20 minutes. It’s quick you catch the fish and they’ll grill or fry it for you right after. We did grilled trout and tried lemon pepper and black pepper… and both were delish like genuinely. Plus the cutest little photo op holding your fish before they cook it. Core memory vibes, would absolutely do it again.”

“My experience here was great. Beef stroganoff was the daily special and it was delicious. It was $25, but beef is expensive and it was meaty. I made 2 meals of it. The chocolate and caramel pirogies were yummy too. It is not fast food, but something a little different and good and a nice place yo enjoy it with friends. The atmosphere was very warm with wood and stone. I haven’t been to Russia or Ukraine, but it looked like places I saw in Romania.”

“While fast food restaurants in Newport, TN are often a gamble, we have consistently had great food and service from this Burger King. Tonight we ordered Whopper's. It was the first time in over a year because the last whopper I had just wasn't good. Tonight's was a game changer, it actually was the good tasting not soggy Whopper from 20+ years ago. Great job! This put that new sandwich from the place across the street that I had to wait 30 minutes for to shame.”

“I ordered last night, delivery. I ordered a medium pizza. Pizza was dry, hard and I ordered black olives, onions, pineapples and bacon. It was $25.00 and I could not find anything I ordered on the pizza, I gave it to a neighbor and they fed it to the squirrels. I know everyone is having a hard time but .. it just aggravated me what I paid and could not eat it.”

“Update…. Tonight 7/22/25 we stopped once again to grab some KFC on our way home.
My wife did the order on her phone. Once we arrived the head cook, Noah, came out and told us they were out of white meat and offered several substitutions. He was super apologetic and when he returned with our revised order he was once again very apologetic. We told him it was fine and it was our fault for stopping so late (we try not to do that out of respect for the workers). He even said we can go online and complain about our experience. No way am I gonna complain over that! His great personality and attitude made my wife and I talk on the way home about how the Newport TN KFC has really really improved in the last year! Great job Noah and all those who have helped make this store great!

Tonight, 3-30-25, my wife and I visited our local KFC at 805 Cosby Hwy, Newport, TN to walk in and pick up our food to go. We’ve ate there many many times over the years and had noticed a gradual decline in the atmosphere, personnel and cleanliness of this store. Today was our first visit back in a while because of the above mentioned areas. We were shocked by the politeness and manners of the young man, Cody, who waited on us! He went above and beyond serving us! Updating us regularly and apologizing for the delay while our fries cooked. My wife and I discussed the complete change in cleanliness and how well the other employees looked and acted as they worked. My wife spoke to the manager on duty, Joe, and his professionalism seemed to be a reflection of the other improvements we witnessed.
