The food at The Baht Restaurant was absolutely excellent. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly tasty. You can truly tell that care and authenticity go into their cooking. It is honestly the closest to authentic Thai food I’ve had in Tennessee so far.
The ingredients tasted fresh, the balance of flavors was spot on, and the spice level was done right—not overwhelming, but flavorful and true to Thai cuisine. The presentation was also...read full review
The host was great, got us seated within 10 minutes. Then we were asked by multiple servers if we needed assistance at first, but having never been there, we took our time with the menu, and then placed our order. Apps came out quick, then 45 mins of radio silence, with a 7 year old, and about 8 other tables being served around us. Waited forever just to be seated, and then no one came to take our order. Staff clearly understaffed. Food? Average, tiny portions, overpriced. And they automatically hit you with 18% gratuity.
Asked the manager about it, and he was completely rude—called us “cheap” and even used the F-word. Honestly, they are the real cheapskates, trying to squeeze every penny while giving nothing in return. Absolutely terrible experience.

The Baht - Thai Restaurant & Bar Gatlinburg offers the best tasting Thai food, with the Tom Kha Shrimp soup to die for, heavenly Thai Tea, and seriously amazing Tom Yum fried rice. A Thai family visiting from Asheville was very impressed by the authenticity and quality of the food. The atmosphere is wonderful, with a 360 all glass building that makes diners feel like they’re outside, next to a pretty stream and ducks and ducklings walking around outside. The service is quick and efficient, and the staff is wonderful. The location is fun but tucked away in a kinda odd placement, and it is a bit pricy. There is a mandatory 18% gratuity. The building has floor to ceiling windows all around the dining area, and the company culture shines even after hours.
