The food was wonderful, but we were disappointed by the slow service. Took over 10 minutes for us to be greeted by our server. He apologized saying he was held up with a challenge that needed to be managed - but it would have been nice for another staff member to come over and at least pour us waters while we were waiting, and to let us know why we were waiting. First time at the resort and the restaurant and we will definitely be back. Our sweet server Jessica was amazing and on top of all our needs.
Ember and Elm at Dollywood's HeartSong Lodge is a fantastic choice for dining in Pigeon Forge. We always enjoy the complimentary biscuits with butter and mango-peach preserves. We have ordered the deviled egg appetizer several times. We like the variety as offered on the menu, but have willingly paid the upcharge to have all 9 deviled eggs include hot honey fried shrimp atop! We have ordered a variety of the entrees and enjoyed them all. I especially like the agave-glazed carrots!

High Note restaurant offers exceptional food and service, with a great breakfast selection including delicious omelettes and perfectly cooked eggs. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making every celebration special, such as birthdays and large parties with small children. The buffet provides a variety of tasty options like fruit, eggs, bacon, and breakfast flatbreads, although toast can take a while to be prepared. The duck, shrimp and grits, and deviled eggs are incredibly flavorful, and the chef’s sweet potato purée is a hit. High Note features a brick oven for making crispy Margarita pizza, and the Lodge salad remains a popular choice for takeout. The atmosphere is beautiful and receives high praise, with servers known for their friendly service and excellent drink recommendations. Visitors consistently enjoy the warm ambiance, and the food is served hot and well-crafted. While the food and atmosphere are excellent, some guests have noted challenges with parking, especially for handicapped guests. Overall, High Note provides an amazing dining experience, perfect for any occasion, and is a must-visit in Pigeon Forge.
