Overall it was a good experience. We got the crab leg portion of the buffet. The crab legs were good. The side dishes were okay. I recommend staying away from the crab cakes, but the mussels were good. I don’t recommend coming if you aren’t getting the crab legs, the price was fair for what we got.
I was skeptical because of the rating, but was very happy with the food. Crab legs were perfect. The waitress was great, very friendly.
The buffet had tons of options for seafood. It was all hot. The server was decent.

Captain Jim's Seafood Buffet offers a reasonable price for a seafood buffet experience. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has a friendly staff who provide great service. The buffet includes crab legs, oysters, mussels, clams, flounder, and frog legs, although some dishes may lack flavor. The dessert selection is limited and not displayed at the bars. While the buffet may be pricier due to the crab legs, it offers a variety of seafood options, including flounder, Mahai Mahai, cod, salmon, and shrimp, which have been praised by customers. The gumbo, with a lot of okra, is also good. The restaurant has a rustic atmosphere, and the service is great.
