I have been attempting to connect via phone, Facebook, text, etc. with negative results.I want to bring you some business, but I am concerned from the reviews I've read.I have a group of people in their 50s and 60s who grew up in Germany and some were stationed there as adults.We want genuine, authentic, homemade German food and truly hope that we shall be pleasantly amazed by your authentic cooking and happy hospitality.We tried the place in Gatlinburg and we're very disenchanted....read full review
The food was good and the beer also. But if you are going to call yourself a German tavern make it German not just a bar that serves German food. Also, there was a good amount of cigarette smell coming from somewhere. If it’s from someone in the kitchen they need to be fired. If it’s from somewhere else you need to find it and stop it.Clean the bathrooms.Over all just not worth the money.

We had the pleasure of having an amazing dinner here. The service was fantastic and the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend the pretzel, sausage platter and traditional schnitzel. The German Potato Salad and Potato Pancakes were great as well. They also have several kid-friendly options.If you love German food, do yourself a favor if you're in Pigeon Forge and swing by the Wild Bear Tavern.
