“We were in the restaurant 2 weeks ago because, as a German, I of course wanted to try authentic German food ? And it's not my first time in the USA. The reception and the service were friendly, but our waitress was hardly understood because he spoke so quietly. We had to ask several times - including my American husband. The ambience is quaintly dark. The food was also really good, but it's not authentically German. More American with German highlights, such as red or sauerkraut as a side dish or on the burger, delicious potato salad in a version with mustard. My roast was also super tender and delicious, as was the schnitzel - beautifully flattened and in a crispy breading. So I definitely recommend eating there, but it's more Americanized German cuisine. As is the case the other way around in many restaurants in Germany.“
