Local Goat, a highly recommended New American restaurant in Pigeon Forge, offers a wide variety of delicious dishes made from scratch. The menu features popular items like the lamb burger, pimento cheese burger, and large portions of nachos. The lively and festive atmosphere, enhanced by decorated Christmas trees, creates a cheerful setting for guests. The service is attentive and friendly, with the restaurant often experiencing no wait for lunch, making it a convenient choice during a visit to Pigeon Forge. However, visitors should be prepared for longer waits later in the day.
Recent reviews highlight the great food, such as the beautifully cooked and flavorful teriyaki steak kabob, and the praised TN Whiskey burger, described as the best burger in a long time. The deep fried deviled eggs and New Orleans BBQ shrimp appetizers also received high praise. The staff consistently provides excellent service, with servers being prompt and attentive, though the atmosphere can sometimes be loud, which is enjoyed by many guests.
