“Wife and I stopped in for lunch. We had the Piggy Plank fries, Monstrosity burger and Alfredo pasta. All were delicious! And the beer was ice cold. Prices were typical of other pub fare. What more can you ask for?”
“Best fudge i have ever had. My favorite is the cherry amaretto. The workers are always friendly and willing to let you sample each flavor until you are able to choose what you would like. it is $9 for a half a pound and it's a LOT of fudge. you can pick 4 flavors to make that up. the inside is very comfortable and homey. there is also a coffee shop inside which i haven't tried, but sounds really good.”
“Food truck typically here, huge open spaces for plenty of guests. They have a lot of merch for sale and it seems they have a lot of cool events going on. When we got here it was Taylor Swift trivia - so cool! Staff were very friendly and helpful with letting us try different samples.”
“What a gem! We stopped at this place on our way back to Asheville from Dry Falls. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Food was amazing, service outstanding, and just an all-round honest-to-heart place. I have the Soup&Sandwich combo, with Roast beef on a pita pocket. Wow!”
“I've never been to the store in Sylva. But, I did stop by their mobile drink truck. Their drinks are delicious. I really love the fact that you can buy the drink mix of your choosen to drink at a later time. The staff is very friendly too, which is always a plus. Stop by and give them a try.”
“Always love the steaks! Great food and exceptional service! We always visit when we are in the area.Kid-friendliness: While not about kids, the patio is pet friendly.”
“Menu here is so vast a space telescope couldn't take it all in. I honestly can't think of. an establishment with variety like you'll find here. Order at the counter, then server promptly brings it to your self selected table. The walls are nearly full of historic photographs and memrobeal that I hope to take a closer look at, WHEN I go back.”
“Finally made it to River and Rails and I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30PM. We did have to wait for a bit for someone to notice us and take us to be seated. We picked to sit outside and didn't have anyone to come to us in about 10 minutes plus we were getting a little cold so we came back inside to sit. Of course had to get some drinks. I went with the 120 House Margarita which was pretty good and at $10 not bad. The bar was backed up so did take a little for drinks but our waitress did give us a heads up. Would for sure some here to watch a game since they have a lot of drink options plus cheap drinks like $2 Busch Light and $3 PBR Tall Boys. I will say the menu is loaded with amazing sounding options. They had all day Brunch options that sounded great then bar and Southern food too. They had a soup of the day which I had to try which was Cajun Clam Chowder. It was great! Great flavor and spices, full of clams and was the perfect consistency . Not to thick like many chowders I have had. I took awhile to make a decision but I ended up going with the Country Catfish & Grits which I got Cajun Cornmeal Fried (Blackened is also an option) which is topped with Cajun Cream Sauce. Of course sign me up. Our food came out and it looked great. Large piece of fish, rich Cream Sauce, Cheesy Jalapeno Grits, and with my Greens on the side. This was great and I would for sure get it again. They even make there own hot sauce which I loved too. Everyone we were with also enjoyed there food since everything was delicious. The only reason for 4 and 5 five stars was due to the service which again wasn't bad just a little slow. We will for sure be back maybe for some drinks and great food.”
“I love going to this restaurant and enjoying the fresh hot, fast, and friendly service. The food is awesome but the servers are what makes it stand out the most I’ve been here more times than I can count and my most favorite times going is when I have Kim of Alaina as my server they truly know how to make you feel welcome and taken care of they are very well mannered and go above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best. They are always smiling as well and to see someone smile enjoying what they do just makes the whole experience. Y’all keep up the excellent work. I will be seeing y’all soon.”
“The food was very good. This is without a doubt the best breakfast in Cherokee. The staff was also great. Only place I would eat breakfast in Cherokee. Good job.”
“We got the Philly cheese steak and a large cheese and large pepperoni pizza. It was honestly some of the best pizza we have had in a long time. Even though it was busy, we got our order in about 25 ”
“My husband really enjoyed the seafood trio. I had the chicken finger sandwich...it was a typical sandwich.I had also ordered the fried green tomatoes. They tasted great!! However, you only get THREE for $11.49...ridiculous! It was funny because they served them on a nice glass dish, but everything else in a basket with plastic utensils. haha”
“Great brewery, the owner Greg is very personable and great knowledge of beers. Makes great combinations and every beer we tried we enjoyed. My Wife and I made the trip from Gatlinburg and weren’t disappointed, and got to see some Elk around 430 pm back to our Air BnB through Newfound Gap Rd”
“This place has the best chai latte I have ever had! Their sandwiches and pastries are also absolutely great. I appreciate their focus on seasonal, local ingredients. We only are in the area on a monthly basis, but never miss the chance to go to White Moon.”
“This is a nice diner in a small country town. The server was great very sweet and attentive. Grits was ok kale was nasty the biscuits was good. The jams was good I didn't like the bacon jam too sweet and salty. The salmon Benedict was amazing!!! They got great prices and food.”
“Possibly the best dining experience I've had this year. The food is outstanding and service was both genial and meticulous. The patio sits just by the water and only added to the warm vibe. The cuisine is regionally specific so don't expect your standard menu. But trust them—they know exactly what they're doing.”
“Throughly enjoyed the food and wine. We also had their specialty blueberry gin cocktail...very good. It is a little noisy inside, hard to carry-on a conversation.”
“Friendly, knowledgeable staff, good selection of seafood prepared a variety of ways, not cramped at all but usually busy. Dining available indoors or outdoors along a gorgeous mountain stream, complete with patio heaters and firepit. First class dining experience!”
“My husband and I are visiting here on vacation. I order club sandwiches just about everywhere I go for food (it's always a safe bet) to the point that we've dubbed me a club snob. When I tell you this is the best dang club sandwich I've ever had in my entire life, trust me. Every single bite was absolute perfection. There was an actual slice of HAM on my sandwich, not bad thin deli meat piled high, a perfectly thick ham slice. My husband ordered a burger and said it was the best burger he's had. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. An absolute MUST when visiting Charokee.”
“This is the real deal seafood. It's fresh, it's tasty, and it's well prepared. There's a seafood market which was there before the restaurant. We were told that the market's been active for 13 years so that's a really good sign . Restaurants been going for a couple of years and we're glad it's close to us. Been looking forward to going to this place since we found out about it. It is set back from the main road going through Sylva past the intersection and right past Zaxby's. We enjoyed everything that we had. Can't recommend it enough. The waitress was very nice, Service was quick, the food was freshly prepared, it was my birthday and they gave us a nice little treat. Met the owner and thanked him for a great meal, he was really nice. We also brought home food for other people in the household and they loved it as well. Will be coming back pour some Cajun food next week. Can't recommend this place enough.”
“Stopped here this morning and to my surprise they have a spicy red Chille coffee. Benchmark for me is Mr Bees in New Mexico. Absolutely fantastic flavor, equal to my favorite. No one has ever come close to Mr Bees. Counter staff (I assume the owner) is pleasant and the order was made quickly. Highly recommend this place!!Kid-friendliness: No inappropriate material or behavior.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor entrance with wide door.”
“This great little gem of a restaurant is attached to a gas station so I wasn't expecting too much but I was wrong. Great food and nice employees. We will definitely visit again.”
“This place needs to be on The Food Network. Guy Fieri, if you’re listening, PLEASE VISIT THIS PLACE.You will not be disappointed with any of the items and the Taco Brisket is to die for. The staff is very friendly and wants to make sure you have a great experience always.”
“My coworker recommended this place saying "the milkshakes are the best you'll put in your mouth" and GOLLY! He is right! If you have taste for the best ice cream or milkshakes you gotta give this place a go!”
“HARD TO FIND lol huge sign on the side of building but entrance is a small door past where you’d expect. We walked into a pizza place and tried to order beer. OOPS. Service is better here than the other innovation location but it may of just been the time of day we came. They have a big selection, cool vibes with darts and do half pours!!”
“To find this little place of heaven with the best funnel cake ever was one of the best highlights of my trip, I would go back to visit this little town for the flan at the Mexican restaurant and the funnel cake place”
“I had an amazing brunch at Breadheads in Sylva!! My companion and I shared some chicken and waffles and the brunch quesadilla and both were delicious I was salivating as I saw them approach the table. The chicken was so succulent, crispy, and flavorful it made me wanna slap my mama and then immediately apologize. It sat upon a pillow soft waffle, drizzled with decadent hot honey. The quesadilla was packed in tight and pressed to perfection. The eggs, cheese, bacon, peppers, tomatoes, and mushroom all created the perfect flavor profile. Adding the cilantro ranch and salsa was just the beginning of the happy ending in my stomach. To conclude, I would eat brunch here in a heartbeat. Not to mention the bartender was so attractive and hypnotic because of her attentiveness to my needs as a diner. Needless to say it was lit.”
“Some of the best ice cream ever! The homemade warm waffle cones and bowls are definitely the best! Don't settle for plain cone or bowl!! Marian and Kat, two of the workers, are phenomenal and so friendly - helping people and staying calm no matter how many people are in there -whether an entire West Carolina Univ softball team or families with tons of little kids, even if one is by themself (which really shouldn't happen - because Jack the Dipper always packed when I go as they are so good). Lynda RKid-friendliness: Workers so nice to kids and have plenty of choices for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Accessible”
“my close friend owns this stand with his wife and let me tell you this is some of THE BEST Mexican food in slidell. I had a chorizo quesadilla and a chicken burrito today and they were both 100% perfection. no grease, no chinsey amounts, the burrito was fat and full and the quesadilla was full and sealed perfect so nothing fell out. if you want the best then this is where you need to go”

“We were seated immediately. Our meal was delivered to the table in about 5 minutes after ordering! Great friendly service! Excellent food. You need to try their brisket, burnt ends baked beans, potato salad, and collared greens. You're gonna love it! Come hungry!”
