“What a great find! We were hiking at Chestnut park and I thought about this food the whole time. I couldn’t wait to get down the mountain to eat. I was NOT disappointed!!! The cheesesteak with marinara was to die for, so was my husband’s Italian hoagie. We also tried the meatballs and they melted in our mouths. I could drink the marinara and would travel to NY myself for the bread he imports. The owner is super friendly and helpful and the portions are huge! The cheesecake is great too!”

I wish they would put some furniture slide buttons on the bottoms of the chairs and tables to cut down on the loud screeches when someone pulls out a chair or slides the table. The building is all brick and wood and the acoustics are poor. That not withstanding, it is a great place for lunch or dinner.”

But Jose's green sauce is not too hot. The line sometimes is horrendous but that's because their food is great. Order ahead if you are able to, to keep from standing around waiting for your order.”
