“Overrated - this place was good. But to be 4.8 stars and rated one of the best pancake houses in NC? I don't think it was that good. My wife and I ordered pancakes (she got blueberry). They tasted like a lot of pancakes I have gotten at other places. Maybe we ordered wrong. If you go, just don't have high expectations.”

“CUTE! We visited from Utah driving around the park and stopped here. Not at all what we were expecting and got so much more than we hoped. $17.95 for a 4 course meal and the food was SO delicious. “This is such a great spot! Small and very personalized with pic's of family and friends. Service was a little slow but they were busy and very friendly. Food was fresh ingredients, hot, and appeared to be made with lots of love. The fried grits were something unique and different, I liked them. “Wow!!! Popped into this local joint, and oh, what a surprise. The Bacon Gouda burger with local meat was juicy and cooked perfectly. I had the onion rings that were great, but that ring sauce was off the charts! I used the last drops to drip burger in! Also, I grabbed a homemade chocolate chip cookie sandwich that was delicious. Pleasant employees and nice atmosphere that reflected the town of Canton. Don't skip this one if you're in this area. Parking was right beside the place but kinda limited.”

“It's a very unassuming place but you order at the counter and if eating take a seat and they will deliver to the table. I had the ceasar salad, and the dressing was delicious! The small was more than enough. Also, I got the small cheese sticks, and they were great with plenty of cheese. The pizza was The White! The crust was thin and crispy with plenty of fresh toppings. Only wish they had parmesan shakers on table, but probably could have asked. It was some of the best pizza I've had in a while. Employees and owners were friendly, and service was fast. Seemed like most were take out because I was only one in dining room.”

“After a 7 hour drive, we decided to take a chance…order pizza here and have it delivered. Good plan! Medium pizza was larger than a large at our favorite place at home. We also ordered the antipasto salad. Both were delicious!”

“We visited Waynesville and the Church Street Depot was recommended to us. I do not really care for burgers. Well, we went 5 times to eat burgers there during our stay! The speciality blend is a must! The staff were extremely helpful in going over the menu. My husband tried all the different special burgers. He loved every one of them! The fries are out of this world too! Definitely will be back to visit them for another burger soon!!! We loved the Church Street Depot!”

“My husband and I stopped in on Saturday 3/16/24 after we ate lunch ( the owner was bringing tables and stuff in because she was supposed to be closed but she said that she had some goodies left ! and welcomed us in ) we got the chocolate chip caramel sea salt cookies and a Oreo stuffed cookie , along with a peach muffin. First off the owner was a very sweet lady to have welcomed us in and serve us well past her closing time was amazing so thank you for that ! and also my husband wanted me to note that the chocolate chip caramel sea salt cookies were incredible! ( I only got a bite he ate them both !! ? but it was amazing ( better then grandmas p.s don’t tell my grandma ?) and the Oreo was fantastic as well ! the muffin was spot on ! We both could tell you truly put your heart into your work ! we wished we ran across this place sooner we was only in town for the weekend so unfortunately we didn’t get to try more but my husband is trying to convince me into having you over night ship him more of the cookies ? trust me this place is a hidden gem! price is amazing, quality is amazing! the lady who owns it was a sweetheart! thank you so much for the wonderful experience! and taken time to welcome us ! this is definitely on our go to spot when we come back ! keep up the amazing work ! and everyone needs to stop here !!!”

“We love this place and have eaten here multiple times. It is our go to place in Canton. It's homey, the staff are all great. And the food is usually very good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is last time I had the fried flounder it sure tasted like tilapia. NOT a fish that we like to eat. Try the onion rings! The nightly specials are pretty good too.”

“We had the steak taco and beef cheeks taco. Both were good. I would say the beef cheeks was better than the steak. We ordered two of each as they are small. The tortillas are home made and good. We prefer flour tortillas to corn, but that's just a preference. Based on the reviews on yelp, my expectations were really high. Jose's Taco Truck was good......just not "as good" as I expected. The service was excellent. The lady in the truck was very friendly and helpful. The place has a 100% rating for sanitary conditions. That's a huge plus in my book. We will go back and eat there again since it's only $4.00 a taco.”
