Solid southern cooking. We both had fried chicken with different sides. And a slice of "German chocolate" pie.Definitely off the tourist trail. Lots of character with the old school diner aesthetic. Couldn't find a build date, but maybe the 1940's.Looks family owned with a gaggle of sisters working the front.
Listen I got the chicken pot pie with a side salad and fried okra . I was afraid that my husband wouldn't be a big fan of the pot pie but with that being said . He absolutely loved it . He said you could tell that was homemade. That's the reason I give you 5 stars . Outstanding job Clyde's restaurant!!!!!

Had the reuben it was shredded and didn't have the dressing on it . But very good . Potatoe salad was good. Coleslaw was good . Service was good and quick . Will be back to try the other specials of the week .
