Their specialty pizza combinations vary widely, and the weekly specials are always creative and delicious. The wings and salads are some of the best you’ll find in the area, and they always have an impressive, rotating selection of beers on tap. The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly, with an outdoor patio, multiple large TVs for catching sports games, and even a couch that makes it feel like a comfortable hangout spot rather than just a restaurant. The staff are welcoming and the service is smooth. Whether you’re there for a casual family dinner, game day, or just great pizza and drinks, Doughboys delivers every time. Highly recommend. 🍕🍻“

“Very relaxed beach burger stand vibes that delivers not just on taste, but on quality as well. One of the best burgers I've had in WNC and I've had a lot of them. Get a shaved ice after to really drive home the nostalgic summer feel. Thanks for the great lunch Gigis!“

“We wanted a local breakfast restaurant during our visit to Maggie Valley, and found The Buttered Biscuit. Everything is made from scratch and the Biscuits are huge! Will go again no doubt! True Southern Breakfast!“

“Excellent service. Best yeast rolls I have ever had! Ample portions, appropriately priced. The 4 stars for atmosphere is due to how loud it was in the restaurant. I couldn't hear my husband from just across the table.“

“My wife and I live about a mile away, maybe we are biased. The food is always good, the worst service we ever got was when they were literally slammed busy. I bring friends and family here when they visit and I have never heard a complaint. Miss Wendy and her staff are awesome. Will keep going back.“

“Had lunch here yesterday and we were very pleased from the minute we walked in. Friendly staff, very clean restaurant service was fast waitress was very friendly and polite and answered the questions we had about the different food items. Sorry I don’t remember her name but she was terrific! If in the area again we will be back!“

“We stopped in for quick dinner on Saturday night. The service was great - we were the only table sitting outside, but our servers were quick and professional, very nice. The food was awesome - didn't take too long despite a crowd showing up, and was exactly as advertised. The prices were surprisingly affordable! Great drinks too! We'll be back to this spot for sure!“

“Stopped in Lake Junaluska on our trip back home to TX. We stopped here to eat and I have to say the Southwestern Quesadillas with shrimp were amazing! So delicious, and my husband loved his thin crust pizza. Great food and service 🤗“

“I grew up eating at this restaurant, and didn’t realize I took it for granted! I have moved around several states and have yet to find Mexican restaurants and dishes that are close to comparable. A Mexican restaurant that is worth our 90 minute drive 😋“

“Not a bad place to go for some BBQ. To be fair, I wasn't feeling traditional BBQ, so I ordered sliced turkey platter with sweet potato fries. Great selection. Tons of turkey, super tender and amazing flavor. Totally worth another visit. Hopefully we will get a different waitress though. Ours disappeared for extended periods of time that left us frustrated and annoyed. We were done eating for more than ten minutes before she showed up asking if we needed anything else. Maybe she was having a rough day, but it did put a slight damper on our meal. The decor is great if you are a stock car racing fan. Lots of old memorabilia.“

“Had an early dinner here and really enjoyed the experience. The food had great flavor, and they were very accommodating with food allergies, which I really appreciated.
I ordered the trout, and it was excellent. The presentation was beautiful, the portion size was generous, and the flavor was outstanding. Everything was prepared well, and you could tell care went into the dish.
Overall, a great meal with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. I'd definitely come back.“
